When pulling nanners, do you just pull the yellow part or the whole polyp?

I'm using tweezers to get to the nanners, but pulling the yellow bits usually ends up with only half of the nanner. Is it ok to just yank the whole polyp from which the nanner is coming out of?

Just dig the suckers out from the back of the nanner, mark the plant if you have a bunch of them and keep an eye out for more. I also remove the banana from the area I have no idea if they would pop if you just left it on the floor.

Yes remove all the flower parts from the node, not just the pollen anthers.

I plan on running the Shop Vac afterwards just in case, but I drop/scrape them into a cup while yanking. Thanks for tips.

most nanners like that are sterile.
