You wind up getting anti- Arab, anti-Jew, anti US and anti- everything threads that can turn into shit slinging festivals. The problem seems to be that too many people are intolerant of other peoples views and are ignorant of other peoples culture. I am trying to follow you Hash, and I do to a point, but this is the Den. Don't get mad at members using it for it's purpose. Take it up with Gypsy for creating the Den, I guess, or for giving Verite the "Comic Guru" title. Can't blame the little guys for using something the way it was intended. Course, ya can't blame Gypsy either for creating a spot for all the "off topic" stuff to go, instead of ending up in the Growing/Med forums.

the fact is both sites are/were the top grow sites on the web and both attract(ed) a wide variety of posters (it's past tense for OG as it passed on in early '05) ..so it's up to you to spend your time reading what you consider to be the serious or silly, the worthy and the unworthy

the best way to counteract what you feel is wrong here is to open threads and post on subjects you feel are worthy..and to ignore the rest.

Even if I share the general opinion regarding this product, I have seen similar devices being used on ill babies on many occasions, and it does not seem that ridiculous after all. I mean, how do you expect babies to empty their nose when it's full of snot? Someone has to do it for them. Or find another solution.
