When do your males start exploding pollen?

Which date? I'm around the Great Lakes, so 40° to 50° North is of particular interest. Please indica indica/sativa components.

Depends on what you're growing. If they aren't releasing pollen yet. They should be close or at least showing
soon at this time. Make sure you visit you plants weekly or twice weekly until you know more about your strain.
Otherwise, you may be late and end up with lots of seeds.

Won’t be long for this one.

Like troutman said, it pays to be diligent in case you misread preflowers etc. This is an early strain, but I’ve had haze hybrids drop in Oct, and other strains in between. I’ve not real experience to comment on influence of latitude but plant age, hrs sunlight in your plot, nutrients, they can all impact things. My location is at 14.25hr sunlight/day right now.
