I've eaten seeds I thought were useless before. No use to me and I couldn't think of a reason someone else would want to grow the strain. I agree with the other posters who said this strain could be useful for certain people. I'm not sure how effective it would be with PTSD, certain types of trauma. Usually cannabis wipes the short term memory leaving long term memory intact, the type of stuff people obsess over.

A lot of times when I'm obsessing about something that happened in the past getting stoned will cause me to fixate on it more. This isn't always bad, sometimes the altered state of consciousness will offer an unique insight that allows me to reach a resolution and move past it. You can forget stuff but the damage is still there. Psychedelics are unique because they offer insight as opposed to alcohol or other drugs that numb it all out.

But this is getting off topic. If the seeds were something unique or sought after it'd be different but there's plenty of Diesel out there. No reason to waste space keeping seeds you don't want to grow, I'd either give them away or eat them. Grow the best trash the rest..

When you say it hampers memory do you mean while your high or stoned or up to a day later or you talking weeks later.

Previously, I had a cut of ECSD which would (as I'm exhaling from a large bong hit) have me looking around to find the lighter and bong which are still in my hands.

The memory effect is temporary, and can last a few days.

F2's grown and crossed to each other, so F2xF2, with both F2's originally created using the same male.

Some very good points have been put forth, ty everyone. Just in case it would be a regretful situation otherwise, I'll be keeping them safe in a freezer. That cut I had of ECSD was much worse though. lol

That’s a broad question, but from reading the full post I see it as a chemotype issue.

IMO, all chemotypes have a medical application of some kind, and the one you’re speaking of seems to be quite a rare chemotype, making it a particularly important genetic. But for whom?
Apparently it’s not up your alley, so I say it’s a matter of passing it on to the right folks. (That sure as heck ain’t this one; I’m already forgetful enough.)
Probably easier said than done, I realize.

I have a similar experience, my Lebanese seeds grown indoors produced a red stem pheno with unique buzz like I remembered from my youth. Yes she hermied.
Am I gonna plant her seeds? Probably. Am I gonna sell them or promote them? Definitely not.

That was my point I forgot to make lol. The Bernie issue would cause many to toss them. That and the fact that it doesn’t create “crystal coated” buds like most of today’s hybrids. Maybe if I was looking to sell seeds I’d care but I grow for myself. If I have to take 5/6 hits instead of 1/2 it doesn’t really matter to me as long as I enjoy the end result.

So for the OP, you never know what someone else may like even if it isn’t something that the masses would want. If I were in your position I’d look for a med grower that may have interest or even a breeder you believe is in it for the right reasons and get them to that person and move onto the next project yourself.

How does it extract? have you ran it in edibles?do the concentrates do this "memoryblank" thing also?

I did a 90min, sealed decarb in the oven at... great, I've been using this stuff on my days off and am unable to remember what temp... Followed by sub-zero ethanol extraction and room temp, thin film evaporation.

Yes, extracts prepared this way definitely carry the memory wiping effect.
