When do you say "NO," and destroy genetics instead of using them?

I've recently made a batch of seeds, from genetics which seriously hamper memory. Not just for me either, it seems to be varying but universal so far. It's a cross of ECSD, and I'm considering eating the seeds instead of using, keeping or sharing them. I'm interested in arguments for and against destruction.

On the one hand, it's extremely disruptive when trying to be productive. On the other hand, it may be extremely useful to at least a few small groups of people.

What's your take?

Wow what a dilemna. I have heard it said that a strain called Nigerian sunshine is preferred for PTSD because NS prevents nightmares.
I wouldn't destroy it.
It may be something someone needs.
I understand your concern. No one wants to be remembered for producing green Rohypnol.

When you say it hampers memory do you mean while your high or stoned or up to a day later or you talking weeks later.

First thing that comes to mind is that would be great for people suffering from PTSD.

Any high THC strain works for PTSD it blocks the traumatic memory from being re lived over n over very different to say an Alzheimer's type of memory loss.

Yup I remember that guy. Apparently he's in the mental hospital and thinks he's an orange. At least that was the story in my neighborhood when I was kid.

I had a strain that gave me a headache. I only grew one clone for the second run just to test it out... Second run, same... Tossed everything related to it, seeds and all.

Your strain sounds useful. Eternal Sunshine (of a Spotless Mind) type shit. Help me forget my ex. lol

I would like to forget the last 15 years, except for my pets.

It was a glass of orange juice.

I have some brick bagseed that throws nanners on almost every female. But it’s got a high that can’t be found in modern hybrids and takes me back to my youth. The seeds were originally found in a quarter of brick weed from the mid 90s that just have a clear, happy, giggly high and even a few generations later still maintains that.

For me most modern “strains” cause a bit of brain fog and this particular seed line doesn’t do that while also not having the 12+weeks of flower that a mostly pure sativa brings.

my thoughts are..... what generation of the cross are the seeds? has it been outcrossed at all?

I have a similar experience, my Lebanese seeds grown indoors produced a red stem pheno with unique buzz like I remembered from my youth. Yes she hermied.
Am I gonna plant her seeds? Probably. Am I gonna sell them or promote them? Definitely not.
