Wheat Grass as Companion Plant?

I have clover growing in my beds, would Wheat Grass be a good companion plant to grow in the beds? Any info would be appreciated, thank you!

I'm interested in what you find works. Outdoors I plant crimson clover in spring and cereal rye in fall. I have tried mixing legumes with grasses during a grow but it doesn't work well for me. I have better luck just using white dutch clover.

works best in low input situations
excess nitrates will spoilt

Worked well for me this past year

I grew peas and barley/oats mix in the no tills to that 2 to 1 ratio
for the garden I broadcast a mix of clover , alfalfa and barley

First pic is May 10, to the left and back are the spring broccoli,

on the right, overwintered broccoli flowered and barley was in full form with nearly over mature seedheads

one day later it was mowed down and mulched heavily

if it received water, it grew very well
including the next round of barley at the base of the squash

yes it works and I will be intercropping again
Edit to add that I will give that perennial wheat grass a try also
