don't know what to tell you , I've found the opposite, and closest to a clone easier with the S1 ive run, not saying every pheno is identical but to me was easier to find with 5 Feminized seeds instead of any hybrid with another strain/phenotype.
I guess a S1 can be close to the mother especially if it's a "homozygote" (aa) plant. If a mom is heterozygote (ab) and you self it, it's less consistent. In that case I'd be rather pursuing a backcross with a phenotypical distinct male with rather recessive traits. But I am not a breeder....

Hey ambertrichonme,

didnt you work for Flying Dutchmen in the past?

Is somewhere some Swazi Safari or Real Mccoy left??

Thank you again
Nope, not me. I did moderate for Dan Van Pot, before he got busted. Thats been so long I cant even remember the name of the forum. He bred the Cup Winning God Bud, with BC Bud Depot, and they screwed hum, so he left, and took his Male, along with a Clone of the original Mother. They did/do have the original mother, but have to use a different male. But BC Bud Depot, has never had the original MALE, that helped win the cup, since Dan left. I also moderated for Claude/Serious Seeds, when he first started his forum, and I got a federal supervised release violation, from a rat, I was growing, at his house, whos ex, found out, and told the cops, so I went back to federal prison for 30 more months. I was out for 5 years, after doing 5 for cultivation, and went back, for 30 more months. So I lost that mod job, needless to say. I was Jethro, on both of them. I did about 7.5 years, and 5 years supervised release on a 10-LIFE Mandatory Minimum, for 1250 clones, and caught a state charge on the rat, who I was growing with, while on supervised release. It was a state 5-10, class C. They ran the time concurrent with my federal violation as I had way more fed time, than as I would have been eligible for state parole in 18 months, and I had to do 30 months, for the feds. No Parole, in the feds anymore. Since 80s-90s. Those convicted Before the 80s-90s Law, still do go up for Parole, in the feds.
