don't know what to tell you , I've found the opposite, and closest to a clone easier with the S1 ive run, not saying every pheno is identical but to me was easier to find with 5 Feminized seeds instead of any hybrid with another strain/phenotype.
I guess a S1 can be close to the mother especially if it's a "homozygote" (aa) plant. If a mom is heterozygote (ab) and you self it, it's less consistent. In that case I'd be rather pursuing a backcross with a phenotypical distinct male with rather recessive traits. But I am not a breeder....

Hey ambertrichonme,

didnt you work for Flying Dutchmen in the past?

Is somewhere some Swazi Safari or Real Mccoy left??

Thank you again
Nope, not me. I did moderate for Dan Van Pot, before he got busted. Thats been so long I cant even remember the name of the forum. He bred the Cup Winning God Bud, with BC Bud Depot, and they screwed hum, so he left, and took his Male, along with a Clone of the original Mother. They did/do have the original mother, but have to use a different male. But BC Bud Depot, has never had the original MALE, that helped win the cup, since Dan left. I also moderated for Claude/Serious Seeds, when he first started his forum, and I got a federal supervised release violation, from a rat, I was growing, at his house, whos ex, found out, and told the cops, so I went back to federal prison for 30 more months. I was out for 5 years, after doing 5 for cultivation, and went back, for 30 more months. So I lost that mod job, needless to say. I was Jethro, on both of them. I did about 7.5 years, and 5 years supervised release on a 10-LIFE Mandatory Minimum, for 1250 clones, and caught a state charge on the rat, who I was growing with, while on supervised release. It was a state 5-10, class C. They ran the time concurrent with my federal violation as I had way more fed time, than as I would have been eligible for state parole in 18 months, and I had to do 30 months, for the feds. No Parole, in the feds anymore. Since 80s-90s. Those convicted Before the 80s-90s Law, still do go up for Parole, in the feds.

Go to breeder in EU...
Ripper Seeds
Growers Choice NL
Mamiko Seeds
Humboldt Seed Org

I have mixed feelings about Karma, I would try the fems if time & life would allow it.
Connoisseur Genetics also comes to mind if you can afford to hunt many packs as most are unworked crosses
Stay away from TruCanna Genetics imo
Compared to the companies you listed Karma is doing an outstanding job with his seed lines, HSO is only a reseller they don't make the seeds themselves, Ripper had some decent seeds but now most of their stocks are white labels renamed with the latest trends and I have no experience with the 2 other listed. From this list I'm positive only Karma(maybe Mamiko I don't know) is really making the seeds he's selling himself or at least send the parents to people making the seeds for him if he can't. Mamiko has gained a lot of attention because one of their crosses produced a clone elite circulating around the globe now but I have not grown anything from them so I can't tell if their work is worthy of the grow space. I've made some seeds fro Ripper long ago, a Haze hybrid who was really good. And I've made a few seeds from HSO with mixed results, decent buds but nothing great and a lot of packaging errors, the seeds were not what was written on the packaging twice.
Today the market is divided between the companies who sell the seeds they produce and the companies who are just middle men between customers and real seeds producers. Personally I prefer to buy seeds from the people who are doing the job themselves, it's not easy to know how to differentiate them, one important thing are the test grows, all serious seeds producers are sending free seeds to different types of growers for them to do a grow diary and show their results. That's how I choose most of my seeds now, if I can't find a grow log I'll pass even if the genetics are looking super attractive on paper you never know what"s really in the seeds before growing them.
I've made a few crosses from Karma and none of them have been disappointing, I've always found some plants good enough to be kept for several runs. My latest grow with his seeds was Sowahh and wow I could not decide which female to keep so I kept 3 for the whole 24 year, I had to let them go because I changed of apartment or I would still have those 3 females.

Ripper seeds are solid. I ran some strains a few years back and were solid. Don't know what's up with them now though and if they re white labelling. Regarding Growers choice NL stated above, i have seen some positive grow diaries, but their website screams white label to be honest.
Ace, karma, serious, khalifa, SAN, and old school genetics are all good and solid people and real breeders.
@kro-magnon any other suggestions for good non-whitelabellers would be welcome.
