What's Your Favorite Grinder? ( Pics a Plus! )

I really like the Smart Crusher tm 2.25 but they don't seem to be avaialable anywhere. I spotted a new one from SmartCrusher and it's just labeled Smart but I do not know if it's as smooth a grind or not. Silky smooth turning although I bought a few that were much less expensive on amazon and they did not have the boxes. Weed seems to get stuck in it which was not an issue on all the smartcrushers I had previously. Rejects maybe?

Spacecase med 4 pc. is my favorite. Its so smooth.

I gave a Sharpstone to a friend, that thing is great especially for the money . I also have a Mendo mulcher but that usually does not get used. I wanted to try the MM and the SC so I bought both.

That is bad ass.. I can remember my mom having one of these when I was a kid and that was a LONG time ago!! I bet that thing is worth some dough from it's antique status.. I'm gonna have to ask her if she's still got it.. i'll have her put it in her will for me.. lol.. Great idea!!

Check out Mrs.Babba's collection, post #4. She talks more about them later in the thread, too. (more pics in post #42) When I saw that I remembered that my Mom had one when I was a kid. Next time I went to visit I poked around in the cupboards and found it. I've got a nice chromium crusher (not the aluminum one) but the chopper is so much easier to use and the bud comes out great.

I got one from the same people who make volcano's(S&B), got it from Voyager's coffeeshop.
it's just a simple orange grinder, with no screens and just 2 parts.but it
grinds everything perfect,its so smooth.3 year's old this November. I think its the best grinder out there. 5 euro. re, I also have a space case but just prefer the smoothness of the orange S&B.

I just got a Mendo Mulcher.. this is some hot shit.. it's extremely well made from a billet of aluminum.. the machining is superb. The top grinder part has a deep knurl and the top edges are 'rolled' off with wide facets. The knurling and the precise fit make for a nice powerful grind. The bottom part is a large stash compartment with a screen that has a convex shape, so it holds a lot. Unlike most 3 piece grinders, the stash compartment is not split in the middle, instead the the bottom grinding teeth and holes are a nicely tooled ring that threads in at the top of the stash chamber rather than the middle of it. The bottom is your typical keef catcher that is very precisely threaded to the bottom of the stash chamber. This thing rocks.. grind is smooth, product is perfect for my vaporizor. And, for us U.S. based subscribers, it has engraved on the top "MENDO MULCHER" with "USA" engraved right in the middle. I would love to have a couple of these that were just stash cans without the grinder mechanism.. I emailed the maker, a fella named Dave, and he told me they were gonna start making them.. I'm in! This thing blows my Space Case right out of the water. Ok.. I'm done..

Well I bought a sharpstone because it was mentioned so many times and all I can say is it's vastly overpriced in comparison to the smart crusher with the smart crusher being less than half the price of the sharpstone and definitely as smooth in rotating the grinder.

P.S. did you know you can clean these things thereby extending the life of them after they get so stickified? Dummy me* was buying new ones everytime they got gunked up and now that I "found out" that they can be cleaned with a 420 cleaner and be good as new, I now am set for many years with smart crushers as now I have enough of these things to open up Tudo's Pre-Owned Smart Crusher emporium

* plead leniency as I grew up using fingers and advanced to scissors several decades ago and only within the last decade have used grinders.

Sharpstone for me, everyonce and a while I soak it in alcohol overnight and clean it up pretty good. It has a pretty small screen tho, my buddies space case seems to collect much more kief than mine, and we both smoke pretty hard

After reading this thread when it started I pulled the Mendo Mulcher back out. Have had it and the SpaceCase in use for the last week.

Im still going with the SC, just smoother and I like the way the main compartment opens up better.
I think the MM would be every bit as smooth if there was a teflon (or some such shit) ring on the outside where the grinding sections comes together. If that was smoothed out it would be great.
The fingers and scissors work, but I definitely prefer a grinder. the consistant ground herb seems to Burn better. Definitely essential weed gadgetry for me, that and hemp wick.
