Oh yeah definitely like sadat x, good good stuff right there. I got into him from that soundbombing 2 album that 1999 is on. You ever listen to company flow? They were on that comp too and their album used to be one of my most played w/o a doubt. El-p's verse on this song (2nd one) is one of my favorite ever.

The bay in the 90's was coo bruh, most of the artist I posted on the list above I either hung out with, went to school with or had beef/funk with! They was so local to me I jus ran into them alot stayin' active in the traffic/streets. I remember wen "17 reasons" came out.... me an my as you say, associactes had some serious funk with a few of there associates so at the time wen the album came out, we all hated it but loved it! even tho the funk was hot! Mufuckas was gettin beat up and smoked some my homies was still knockin there shit tho.
