what's the pH of your runoff water? how big are the pots and how old are the plants? How much nutes did you give them?

If you don't provide more infomation its hard to be of help....5 days is a long time between waterings, my own plants (soil, 2 gallon/6.5L pots) under a 400W get VERY dry after three-four days max.

My guess is either too little water, or overfert...or both. Unless your pH is also off which won't do your plants any good. More info please?

they suffered from overwatering before. not sure the water PH.. but it was fine in previous grows, 2 gallon pots and ther arround 2 weeks old gave them like 1/2tspg

Amnesia, when you're just starting out growing, its very easy to literally kill your plants with love....the best thing to do is to just let them do their thing.

An easy and excellent way to understand when they need watering is to lift the pot, when the soil is dry the pot will feel light and its time to water. When the soil is still moist you'll feel the pot a bit heavier.

Even in soil its important to know what pH you are running...pH imbalances can cause many problems and lead to the death of the plants. A pH tester is an investment everyone should make. The runoff water from your soil should test anywhere between 6.2 - 6.7 which is a good range in soil. I tend to keep my pH around 6.6 - 6.7 max. Some strains are very sensitive to pH imbalances, others will grow like weeds in almost any conditions.

Two weeks is borderline for giving nutes to your plants....you can start, but the nutes should be very diluted, I start out using 1/4 strength of what's indicated on the bottle, and increase as the plants get bigger.

As an emergency measure, I'd advise you to flush the soil with at least 4 gallons of the water you normally use to water them with....this to resolve any eventual problems of overfert. Then wait a week before giving them nutes again, and when you do, give them at the most half strength.

Unless its a pH problem......the best advice I can give you is to get yourself a pH tester
