i visit Van about 4 or 5 times a year and am usually disappointed at what i get at the "usual places" you know, certain hostels, or other known spots to grab a nug. Once I got a HANDFULL of ditchweed from a homeless guy, no baggie, nuthin, just a handfull of hay i put in my pocket that was fukin terrible. I couldnt wait to get back to the states to my kind herbs...now, I am convinced that the low quality is not a BC thing, just a "you dont know anybody here" thing.
when i go to visit friends in the scene I am always blown away by the quality of the bud they have, I am drooling as I type this, remembering some watermelon i puffed last visit, and the rene bubble that turned me into a 12 year old kid (i got better).
so, my point is...if you are a stranger, you will find the worst bud, even in the best town. if you have the right friends, world class bud can be found even in the armpits of the world.
if you dont know anyone in van, and you have a scrip from the states, my advice is to seek out the more reputable compassion clubs, get your paperwork to them, and get your budz there. it will be better than the street.

i saw only ONE person yesterday selling something other than 6 different varieties of kush. i got some buddha haze. good nose and high. .7 gram for $10. most of the stuff i saw being sold yesterday was garbage, or very close to it. but i guess you can't really expect too much from the art gallery gathering. as snoop dogg says...
