What is a leaf bract ? They smell great 😃
To be correct they are just a bracts they are leaves associated with flowers and are usually a bit different than other leaves .In this case they are coated with resin . Most folks just call them sugar leaves .A good common example of bracts are the red leaves on poinsettias around the little yellow flowers

When your leaves do that, it's often referred to as 'praying'.

An isolated male flower or three isn't technically a hermaphrodite but can produce seeds. Yes.

The fact that more than just the top is 'praying' doesn't mean that the causes aren't the same. They might well be.

Look for limited (or more) male 'stress flowers' (limited 'bananas') in the female flowers.
