I've seen you post a couple other times about this particular strain. Why is this what you want to grow? Spend some time reading and see if there might be another that could be even better suited for your grow space and overall satisfaction. You're going to need the info to grow well anyways, so why not get a head start and start reading now? In terms of the seeds you buy, there are so many options your head is going to swim. Maybe some kind folks will provide some solid breeders and chuckers who they can stand behind with experience in regards to their product. You can't go wrong with most of what you'll see on this site in terms of the folks who actually sell on SB. The folks who stand behind their product and take the time to post on these forums deserve some support, so maybe take a look around and see what you find.

After that, if you don't already have a good base of knowledge, you should work to educate yourself. It's going to take some time but that's it, your only investment is your attention span and however long of your day you're willing to devote to learning how to grow pot well. Here's the first step...maybe a bit dated at this point, but all the essentials are here. This is what got me growing a decade ago or more and many of the people who wrote it are still growing today (and posting on icmag, even). It was taken down many years ago by the authorities but it appears that someone has resurrected it in a newly edited form. I can't say for sure that everything is identical to the way it was originally but at a glance it all looks to be on point.

There is no definitive answer to Q1.

Q2, as mentioned... google it.

Yes, no definite answer, but.... THC levels are pretty irrelevant, what really counts is how it smokes and if people like it.

The Canadian scene is clearly very different to the US, they have been under much less pressure from LEO and also much more free to communicate. What "elites" have emerged from there and been around for over a decade have done so through excellence, not hype, IMO if Canadians like something, it is for good reason, so God Bud, Romulan, SPG, Blockhead, etc are all clearly going to be top shelf

Jordan of the Isles and BC bud depot both sell God Bud. Next Generation sells Grape God as well, which I have heard good things about.

I've got some BC God Bud F2s running now at just over 40 days. Don't know about the THC %, but the stink factor is off the charts! I've been growing strains with Pre98 Bubba and Sour Diesel mixed in recently, and the Gbuds hold their own against either. I have 1 pheno that looks a bit more sativa than the others and has a better calyx to bud # than the rest... my favorite so far of the group.

I grew out a pack of bc bud depot's god bud a few years ago and was not impressed. I ended up with 3 very different sativa leaning females. All of them hermied out like crazy but I let them go close to 100 days. They yielded super heavy but the smoke was bland and boring. I think there are probably some great phenos out there but I have read a lot of grow reports and reviews on this strain and have seen more disappointment than success. I think if you are looking for a high quality strain you may want to look elsewhere.

Hey Cosmic Fuzz, I know your comments were meant for Vlad, but I have 5 of these God Buds running now taking up space in the flower room. Was your experience with this strain so bad that you would advise that I just cut my losses and trash these, start over with something else? This is my first time growing this strain and would hate to invest even more time on something that's a sure fail. Why did you go 100 days in flower? Is that the breeders stated flower time for this strain? Usually a 75% indica strain goes 8-9 weeks. I'm wondering if the extra flower time you gave might be why it was bland and boring?

Haha oh man if I could go back I would definitely have cut my losses and focused on the black domino I was also growing at the time which is actually a dank strain. The breeders say its supposed to be an indica dom strain but the phenos I had were super sativas. I really love sativas but these plants had no smell, and very little crystal content. The smoke was just very low potency which might be great for some people but its not what I am looking for. I let them go 100 days because they needed it. At day 70 they still had nothing but white hairs. I wanted to give them a chance. I think the phenos this strain throws out are just incredibly variable. I can't say if you should cut them or not. But I will never grow god bud from seed again. If someone hooks me up with a cut from a proven phenotype I will happily grow it though.

Hey CF, appreciate the feedback. My Gbuds are F2s and are from a friend of a trusted friend. The original pack was bought from BCBD as I understand. All of mine are at about 45 days and look pretty much alike, 1 is a bit taller and strikes me as leaning sativa.

Not a lot of info on this strain that I can find and just wanted to hear what others have experienced. Thanks!

Those f2s were made about 7 years ago from a replacement pack of God Bud that came from Holland. The original packs from Canada didn't germinate. Not much to admire about how BCBD conducts their affairs, one of their tools took my card and went shopping at AutoZone then tried to buy a plane ticket to Russia. It's the real deal though and the sweet smell of Hawaii is unmistakable. One of my favorite strains ever.

i just harvest 2 Gods Gift x Bubba last weekend

Sort of a berry/grape twinge mixed with a bubba/earthy-ness, both look fantastic, dense large nugs covered in trichs

opps-just realized not Gods Gift being discussed

Hey Cool Moe, thanks for coming by and clearing up the story on the origin of these particular God Bud beans. Wasn't sure about the timeline or pheno selections that went into these f2s but they must have been some stinkers. I'm sure glad to be growing legal, there's a delicious aroma of skunky funk blowing out of my exhaust duct that can't be denied. 3 out of 5 are taking on a nice purple hue on the fans if not all the leaves.

Yeah, I think i'll be finishing these based on smell alone, and hope the high is as good as the aroma.

Right on Keif. Sounds like your god bud experience is going to be much better than mine was. I would love to see how they progress.
