What's the best way to fly with weed?

First, let me say that I've searched for this info and came up with very little, except 'put an 1/8 by your nuts' stuff.

I'm going to fly across the US soon and want to drive back with my son -back from Iraq- and have good weed to smoke on the road trip. So i need to bring smoke.

Should I just crotch it, or put it in checked luggage?

Anyone care to relate what has worked for you recently?

those new backscatter machines are very sensitive! picked up a plastic key ring type thing attached to my shorts and i had to do a secondary search because of it... on my last trip i ground up a nice bit and vacuumed sealed a credit card sized amount and put it in my wallet..went thru about 3 x-ray machines just fine.

now i know that you can hold papers/id/stuff in your hand when going thru the backscatter so now i will just wrap whatever amount up in my reciepts/tickets and hold them in my hand when i walk thru..

just put that shit in your suitcase, i don't think they really scan the ones that go in the luggage compartment that much because the boxes they put luggage in are made to absorb an explosion. they only care about carry on bombs. lol.
