What's the best book?

I'm fairly new to this but I have been researching for a fewonths now and I have yet to find a book that I think covers all the bases. Can anyone direct me to a great well written book for growing medical quality organic bud? I have an outdated Jorge Cervantes book but I'm looking for something more. Is there and end all for growing that has been published recently?

Marijuana Botany - by Robert Connell Clarke is great. Its a bit dated and doesn't discuss contemporary (15+ years) techniques or issues, but its full of hard science that is still valid.

I have others by Mel Frank and Jorge Cervantes as well which are good.

I would recommend getting versions better than paperback so you get all the great color pictures and art.

Internet is great as well, but doesn't work without power or connectivity.

Just got it for my birthday..and i am not a new grower and it is by far the best growing book out there..do yourself a favor and buy it

soma's book is one of the best books out there to learn how to really grow short and easy with lots of colored photos.. I have read them all many times and this is the best book I think anyway

Hands-on experience is the BEST everytime. It's always a little different than what you read in a book or online because you're using different genetics, nutes, lights, CO2, or ect.

i agree with you brother bear but i was gifted the books before i knew abot this site, this site has been very benificial for me. i been studying and learnin by trail and error, and lurking alot of your guys/gals grows to help me understand this hobby of ours. feels great actually being able tosupply myself with great smoke cuz where i live your likely to get mexi-weed that varies from ok to crap.or if u know a few people u might be able to aquire some medical that was shipped or transported here. had to take over a year off from growing but doesnt mean i stopped learning for everyone whether it be by book,internet or personal experiance so i say always learned something new everyday
