What's in my bud?

Hello, I'm a medical patient and I've been finding these small webs on the inside "medicine" I purchase. I used to grow when I was young and have seen mold, fungus, and spider mites. I do not really think that is any of those though.

I attached some pics that show what I'm talking about. The webs are few, small, and very difficult to capture with a cheap cell phone camera. This is from multiple different companies and different cultivars. I've been told this is sap, but I know sap doesn't stretch like mozzarella cheese til it breaks. Also someone tried to tell me it is the trichomes stretching which I call complete B.S. on.

The best way I can get a glimpse of this is to hold the dry bud under a really bright light bulb directly in the light. Then break it in 2 in the center, and very slowly pull the 2 sections apart. Wavering from both sides are the webs in question.

Please pros or anyone who has seen this,​ help me figure this out if possible.

I don´t see any pictures?
Sap is liquid goo most of the times, so it´s prolly not sap if it´s webby.

Is the weed indoor or outdoor? Outdoor it could be fluff from like fireweed plants or something like that.. Then again if it´s inside the buds, prolly not that either ´cause that stuff usually sticks to the outer buds, so to speak. Without pics, I´d guess white mould from too wet flowering conditions and/or poor air conditioning during late flowering and/or drying.


Any case, most likely shouldn´t be there. I´d take it back and ask for a refund. And if they say it´s sap, ask em how it gets there and is on every bud?
I´ve seen some plants that form sap on buds, but not inside and not that often. Like one drop per plant once during flowering, not all the god damn time.

If it´s a legal med store, threaten em with some weed inspector thing or whatchu got over there, see if they start sweating.

Then sue the fuck outta em and send me like 20%..

Yeah I'm not seeing any pics either so I can't tell you for sure what it is, then again I might not be able to do that with pics either. What I can tell you though is there is an unfortunate reality that has developed in the world of store bought cannabis whether it be recreational or medicinal. There aren't that many places where growers can send bud to be tested for THC content, CBD content, mold, pests etc. Obviously bad test results can be very devastating to growers and represent a loss of large sums of money because the product is either undesirable or worse yet unsellable. So what has developed according to various reports that have circulated is that some of these testing facilities have engaged in taking bribes in exchange for good reports. I would imagine there are probably also places that sell product that has never been tested even though most places that allow for the sale of cannabis require some testing to establish the product is safe for consumption and is what it's supposed to be.

Sorry about the photos not showing. I actually have gotten refunds everytime I've asked for them. It's just such a pain to deal some of these companies reps. It's also becoming very clear to me that every company has webs in their porduct in my state. There isn't any clean, afordable cannabis in PA's medical program.

I am very happy yoy said that about the testing. I always forget how deep coruption runs. I'm about to get into some research on what companies test for, the allowable amounts of contaminate. I need to also search who owns the testing labs..

I’ve bought a fair amount of dispensary bud, and I’ve grown a fair amount as well. I’ve never seen anything like that.

Yeah it's sad the way corruption gets into everything, there's a post on here somewhere that was made a couple of months ago with a link to a news story about the problem, unfortunately I don't remember the title or who made the post or what sub forum it was in so I don't know how to find it here.
