whats gonna happen since i cut most the leaves off my flowering plants.

fan leaves are how a plant converts sunlight to energy.
it's called photosynthesis.
cutting the fans off is like me stitching your mouth shut so you can't eat.
how long do you think you would last like that?

and another suggestion in your gallery your pic right on i have a few in mine also but i blotted out my face . even if you havent been arrested before they still have a for sure ID on ya, blot out the face and n/p

It depends on how far along in flowering you are,its never a good idea to remove viable leaves at any stage though.I remove fans during flowering if they are half dead or better and not serving any purpose but blocking the light,but all good fans stay on until harvest.If you are worried about them blocking the budsites from getting light,you could simply tuck them down.However its not the flowers that require direct light,it's the fan leaves themselves.

Looking at your gallery yesterday before you removed a few pics those plants looked pretty good.
I.M.O you've fucked up big time and just made a huge dent in your final yield.

Personally,,, i'd expect bud growth to slow down whilst the plant now trys to chuck out a lot of new fan leaves from within the buds themselves.
Hopefully i'm wrong,,,, but it would be good if you kept this thread going until harvest to show everyone exactly what does happen. There are always threads about removing fan leaves,,, it would be good to have some documented "proof" of its effects

may i ask why did you cut the leaves off ??? It will grow new leaves at the cost of the buds.It will bush out producing lots of small buds coming in late.

Its never good to take viable fans,but the damage totally depends on when you did it.If you did it on or before 30 days,you really will lose out on a lot.If you did it with 2 weeks to go until harvest,its still a bad thing but shouldnt have too big an effect on harvest

Might wana throw some new beans in the dirt - your going to need them sooner than you were thinking - assuming you WERE thinking cause it sure don't look like it.

dont worry to much about what you done thistime aroundby cutting the larger fans the plants are still gonna produce some buds for ya. next time if larger fans blockn lower ereas just use soem twisty ties or coated paperclips to move the leaves this way or that way. honestly i dont remove any fans untill they come off plant with a every so gentel tug. when i tug if it dosent come it stays till it 's ready. even i yellow leaf has something to offer the plant during photosynthsis

I concur with Maj.Pothead even a yellow leaf wont hurt the plant but forsure leave those big Fan leaves on till the end! it help break down all the chemicals in the plant we dont want...good luck and Happy Tokin'

It's too late to fix it, make the best of what's left and jam it into gear.

IMO you will get some seeds now - whick will further reduce your bud yeild. DO NOT grow those seeds, you already know they can and will hermi - and that trait only gets worse.

Your next garden will be better from the lessons you are doing now.

I bet your plants would have hermied with or without the haircut,no way I believe removing fans can cause herms.More than likely they would have hermed anyway due to genetics.I know light manipulation can cause herms,I doubt physical abuse is capable of doing it

what were you thinking? did someone tell you it was a good thing to do or did you think of it all on your lonesome? you need to read up on something before you pull the trigger.
