What's eating my plants?!?

I repotted my babies tonight. I noticed that after only two weeks in the 2 gallon growbags, up from 3/4 gallon, they were already starting to get rootbound. Guess I'll move them to 3 gallon bags soon.

I used a mix of FFOF, perlite and dolomite for the new soil. I think next go around I will add some peat moss to drop the PH a bit. Hope they're happy for now.

those spots are the start of ph issues...look at the tips of the serrated edge of the leaf, they are yellowing - calcium def and the blotches are likely Phos def.

A caterpillar would definitely made more damage by now.

Redhed, 7.4 ph will definitely show problems in your plants.

I have never seen calcium problems ever, not once start like this though..... though there is a first time for everything; I think it may be something else other than calcium, his plant looks very healthy and has perfect razor edges for it to be a calcium issue. Calcium does start in the inner leaves or edges, but there is no other sign it's calcium.

But I will agree his pH is high and needs to be brought down, his problem is more over pH related than anything else :)

hmmmmm, maybe K def then? Maybe nothing, I see slight yellowing on the points of each serrated edge.

I don't think you need to add peat as there is peat and guano (both acidic) in the FFOF, and ph drops naturally due to microbial action in soil. There is most likely lime in that mix as well, they advertise as "ph adjusted" Just need to keep your water and ferts ph'd

Hello , Nice job marking out the spots in photos man , it really shows what you are asking about . Do you foliar feed ? I had the same problem a while back but it was not PH but I had sprayed with foliar feed a few days before. I read my nute container and didnt realize it had expired months before and there were "chunkies " floating in it. These did not get mixed well when sprayed and burned the leaves in spots where the concentrated "chunks" had set on the leave . This is just a possibility to look at and I am no expert by far !
