? For the gurus here ,would changing a 1000 watt hps from 100% power down to 50% stress my plants enough to throw male flower .my cuz is convinced that's what happen since there's no prob with the timer or the bulb

Possible I suppose. I know nut sacks can form on sensitive plants, on the lowers that aren't getting enough light.

it was too hot at 1000 watt so i lower it to 50 % for a few weeks then i put it to 75 % who knows but i got cut picking the flowers off when he sees them but he did not see then to start with so i imagine ill have to do that too when i go there oh well another day in the life of a grower of meds
My room was running pretty hot last cycle. Temps hitting 94 with the door off. If I closed the room up temps hit 118. I was able to keep things around 86-88 most of the time, but that was with lights pulled back.
Now, my room is colder with the door on, which means no lost light this round either. Temps will be 82-84 a few inches under the lights. We're in business this round.
New timers for a proper light cycle and maybe I won't see nanners and nuts sacks all over my room this round.
I feel like a noob again in reality, but, I'm getting things in shape and remember what it takes to grow the dank.
I don't know how you and DTOG deal with people set on being incompetent and growing mediocre, thinking it's okay. I'm not sure I could grow enough flowers...

I just cut mine back to 50% I think I will turn it back to full power.

Yeah, I try to keep the upper most part of the canopy no more than 82. I have a little digital thermometer that reads the humidity and temperatures. I hang it from the light so it hangs down about six to eight inches under the light. That’s the main thermometer I look at and try my best to make sure it doesn’t go above 82. I’ve read that at 82 degrees terms start to degrade and burn off so to speak. I’ve got a bunch of thermometers around all aover the place though. I like knowing the temps.
Trust me though, there’s times that it gets hotter than 82 but that’s when I start turning power down on the lights.
That would drive me crazy. I don’t think I’d ever be able to grow with another person. I’m too much of a perfectionist. Trust me, I’m very anal about some things and my garden and plants are one of them...!!!...

M6 room I’m flowering my Bubba crosses in I have been going back and forth from 50%-75%. Do you really think that could stress out the plants.?. Good question. I kinda look at it like some days it’s overcast outside and some days it’s sunny so outdoor plants don5 always get the same light intensity either but who knows...!!!...
I always thought it would just be like nature and cloudy days but now I'm considering how bright the sun is comparatively...

nickman yeah im kinda anal too and my cuz knows it he says im too much lol he will soon find out what happens because lazy people are not good farmers .myself i dont think the turning the power down dont hurt the plant at all ,just like ya said mimics a cloudy day .i dont think its the gentics it was either the wind blowing the black plastic over the only window up and letting the sun light in.he opened the bottom 1/2 of the window about 4 inches .or when he was on vacation 3 weeks ago his daughter went in during the day when its dark in the room .so now i switched from running lights at night to daytime to combat the fucking wind blowing the plastic up and letting the sun shine on my girls arrghhh muther fucking arrgghjhh

I've not had a dosi or gelato that really had more bite than the Forum cut. Pretty plants. Terpy. I haven't come across a sample that really blows my skull off though. I'll be interested to see what you think of those. They are a bit more modern than what you generally run. Good to keep the garden interesting.

way more modern then my usual but i had the chance to grab them who knows maybe a gem somewhere in there.. well its a lil easier to get away from growing with the cuz because he is moving south to florida this winter

the outdoor ak47 are fucking monsters ,ill take some pics tomorrow or sunday .heres a lil ecsd that i hit with some bubba dust a few yrs ago had 4 gave 3 away ,shit happens .been have some heat issues gets to 86 sometimes .i took the tent down so i have a bigger space figured less heat build up didnt help lol
