What's after the pandemic?

Since this event seems to be getting worse, I think it will have long lasting effects. How do you think it will change our lives? Will people fear chinese goods? Will production come back closer to home? How about proper hand washing, will it stay?
Personally, I'm trying to figure out how we should adapt to be better prepared for things like this. Also, I'm looking to invest in domestic production of goods when this goes away. Dunno yet in what type of goods, but I guess I have lots of time to think about it.
Let's discuss! What's your opinion?

- Its certainly a wake up call for people to become more self sufficient - and more solitary - unless they fear not the virus -

- After? - I'm not sure if there will ever really be after the pandemic - since these virus's will live so long as they have a host to live in - and there are about 8 billion of us to choose from -

I agree, if this virus really stays around for any length of time it will trigger a huge rise in home grown food.... and will motivate me to put in more effort in my food garden.

I'm feeling pessimistic today, all I see after the pandemic is mass poverty, desperation and social breakdown, peeps stealing your homegrown food, a total zombie apocalypse and everything else that goes along with it.:tiphat:

very few American companies will make a profit.

countries that handled the C-Virus well - South Korea, Singapore - will handle the continued pandemic well.

The "after" part is 2 to 5 years in the future.

You would think more people would grow food, but they cleared out the toilet paper and the seeds looked to be untouched, until I bought like 15 packs of veggie seeds. Also fishing tackle was untouched by the ignorant masses.

I'm out of work for now because of this shit and it ain't looking good. Thankfully I have plenty of freshly harvested GG#4 and more in flower, not too mention the outdoor season is just about here and the police can't be bothered with weed. I'm actually a little bit exited. :woohoo:

I should think that increased desperation amongst the populace would create more crime/theft - so there would be more chance of having an outdoor crop ripped off - and possibly more chance of home invasions - with crooks looking for food and supplies - rather than just money - bling and gadgets -

In the cities for sure, but I'm far from any city and we're all heavily armed hillbillies. The city folk don't stand a chance they'll be locked down like San Francisco.

Definitely going to be a lot of murder in the cities, when them really bad black ghettos get pissed off, we're going to have some real problems. I imagine we will end up forming militias in the hills just to keep out the hoodlums.
