What The Hell Is That On My Plants.....

P

Psychosativa

Some aphids, the kind that are farmed by ants, suck the plant fluids and excrete sweet juices through their asses, then ants come and farm them like cattle.

I don't know exactly what it is called, but when the humidity is to high sometimes the plant can give off a sap like residue. Plants move water through plant cells though osmosis. If the humidity is higher outside the plant than inside the plant then reverse osmosis can occur. The reason the water is sticky is because normally nutrients will also escape with this liquid. Not sure if this is what you are experiencing, are you humidity levels high?

when i put this stuff on my tounge it tastes sweet like syrcrose(sp?) i.e. sugar...
its nothin but good tho.:woohoo:

i equate it to maple syrup. only unrefined.:2cents:

I got quite a bit of this sap in a recent small harvest. The plants were in Hempy Buckets, fed Pure Blend Pro at about 1/2 strength. I had been wondering about nutrient imbalances.

Now after reading about guttation, I suppose it was caused by the hempy bucket drains being blocked for a while, and too much water in the containers

mine wasn't really oily more gooie and sticky.....i think why it's sticky is from the sugars plants normally produce by converting sun light into food thus making the guttation appear sticky......imo......

Did u taste that stuff Bubbleman?!@?!?!?!?

if so how was it?

I tasted the stuff that formed on mine, it looks just like that but it was formed inside my bud. When the bud dried it was still pretty sticky, tasted pretty sweet like some natural candy or something, really good :)
