what size pot would you recommend?

SatGhost, Bog had some great threads on OG, on potting styles. I don't know if any of his threads made it over here yet, I'll do a search, I copied alot of stuff from OG, but I cant access my harddrive on my other PC.

the bigger the better dude.

use whatever you can fit. 5 gallons or more is great!

and I like to gradually go up in potsize. I got from 16 oz cups to 1 gallon then usually to 5 gallon.

bog doesn't go into alot of detail, just states his opinion on the matter.
i can fully appreciate that timing your transplants like that will ensure a more soild rootball, allowing you to get away with a smaller final pot, but i can't believe that it increases growth rate.

I start out in 32oz cups. Then transplant to 3 gallon. Then transplant to 5 gallon. Pretty easy to remember and do. But don't always go by what someone else says do whatever works for you without stressing the plant to much.

I find that 5gal pots tend to compact the soil alot at the bottom. My next grow will use 3qt jobs. Hopefully the Ak48's will like em' more.
