WHAT NUTRIENTS FOR BEST YIELD

For my money, i've always found Advanced Nutrients to be the best. Sometimes I switch in other nutes if money is tight, but when I have hte cash, i spend it on AN.

Sensi A&B really seems to get the plants off to the right start. You could always start with a few basic things and see hwo it works for you...

For easy growing in soil, I'd go with GH floranova Bloom. It can be used alone and is not only really easy, but it works extremely well, not to mention easy on the wallet. Plants will stay a nice green colour all the way until the end.

I'm about to switch from FNB to MaxiBloom.... getting tired of the FNB and how thick it is, even though I dilute it well and don't have to shake it much.

It leaves a film on my meters that causes my pH meter to read funky and have to be cleaned often. Bleah!

I think it's more about Genetics than Ferts, a plant can only take in so much nutrients, you can get a low yielding strain and pump it full of ferts and guess what.... it will still be low yielding. Try experimenting with different strains before spending a fortune on ferts you will be suprised at the results.
im certain he knows genetics plays a role, lets avoid the obvious.

If you have 2 clones that are 1 and the same
you give a clone nutrient A during flowering and the other clone nutrient B during flowering, which clone yielded more?
its not hard to just answer a question, some people have low yielding strains but want to get the most from it should they throw them away just because the genes or should they find a nute that will help maximize yields?
if you know the answer give it if not ....

here's 3 options, i would personally go with option 3 using general hydroponics manufactures feeding schedule. option 1 is from Rezdog/Chemdog he is worth giving a try also. 2 option i found on IC's forum somewhere, its a dude's opinion, but general hydroponics as a company has been around for as long as indoor growing!

any of the above recomendations will yield well if dialed in, but after base nutes are covered, save your extra 50-100 bucks on additives and just buy more light no matter how little, if u have a hundred bucks, buy a extra 150hps or something similar, its a sure way of an extra 3-6 ounces depending on how well u have it dialed in over the extra grams your going to get with silica blast, or liquid karma, or pk boost etc etc. just something to think about as it all comes down to light being the most important for yeild, an i think we forget this time n time again, more light=more buds.

I Second the Dutch Master Gold Grow/Bloom/ and Liquid Light, Penetrator for foliar feeding. I also use B'CUZZ grow/bloom/pk1314, and a B'cuzz flavor as well all at 1/3 strength and here's some pics to show for itself. Critical Mass 1st, 2nd,&4th pics, Blueberry's #3.

I don't know what made me laugh more, the post you're referring to, or your use of venacular!

I'm currently in my first indoor grow (still in veg). Following the Fox Farms chart with their 3 veg nutes followed by/with their 3 flowering nutes. So far, the results seem very good. Time will tell..

Feedback? Let me know what you think of FF ferts..? Thanks

this maybe a little much for the beginner but it is what i have put together after years and years of refining:
Follow Directions on Product Labels Hygrozyme always at half strength
H2O2 apply to reservoir 20 minutes before mixing in Fertilizers/Chemicals, Use with EVERY Feeding

Most Products are General Hydroponics. I find they are the best and reasonably priced!!
PH at 5.5 to 5.7, Lower is better than higher in the Ph world. Check your run off to see Ph level

Regular Fert’s used through grow and bloom cycles are: Flora Micro & Bloom, SubCulture M&B, Floralicious Plus, FloraNectar, Micro Nut’s, CalMg, Hygrozyme, Epsom Salts
Veg Products/Cycle: Use SuperThrive once a week until end of Veg. Cycle. Roots Excelurator (til 3rd Bloom Wk)
First Week: Grow, Micro, Bloom, SubCulture M & B, Floralicious +, FloraNectar Micro Nut’s, CalMg, Jumbo Green, Hygrozyme (ALWAYS at Half Strength), Epsom Salts,
Dutch Master Foliar, ph 6 (DAY 8) All at HALF Strength except foliar spray.
2nd Week: Same as above but at full Strength, FloraGrow at half strength

3rd Week: Full Strength but NO Flora Grow at ALL No Foliar Spray

4th Week: Last Veg Week No Flora Grow used, No Jumbo Green Used No Foliar Spray
LAST feeding of VEG cycle Flush with Clearing Solution (GH Flora Kleen)

Bloom Products: You will need in addition to Regular Fert’s: Bat Guano, Super Bloom, Jumbo Bud, KoolBloom, AN carbohydrate, Dutch Master Foliar.
NO FLORAGROW USED AT ALL.

1ST Week: Day 1 add Bat Guano (if Powder use weeks 1 & 5)(if Liquid use Weekly)
Add Big Bud weeks 1 - 5 Super Bloom Weeks 1 & 2 only
End of Week use Dutch Master Foliar Spray ph 6(use Weeks 1, 3, 5)

2nd Week: Day 15 KoolBloom 1 tsp. per gal. Super Bloom
AN carbohydrates beginning of week

3rd Week: Dutch Master Foliar Last week of GH SubCulture M & B, Root Excelerator

4th Week: Flush with GN FloraKleen next feeding use pure water then use Fertilizers
Use AN carbohydrates Feending after Flushing with FloraKleen
Day 29 KoolBloom 1 tsp. per gal.

5 Week: Day 35 KoolBloom 1 tsp. per gal. Dutch Master Foliar ph 6
Use Bat Guano at Beginning of Week if Powder.
6 Week: Use AN carbohydrates beginning of week

7 Week: Day 45 KoolBloom 1 tsp. per gal.

8th Week: Alternate FloraKleen and Pure Water PH 5.5, heavy feeding varieties still feed
9th Week: Alternate Clearing Solution and Pure Water PH 5.5
10th Week: Alternate Clearing Solution and Pure Water PH 5.5

Products Used: General Hydroponics (GN) Flora Grow, Micro and Bloom. GN Floralicious Plus, GN FloraNectar, GH Subculture M&B, GH KoolBloom. GN Flora Kleen is my Clearing Solution product. Advanced Nutrients (AN) Carbohydrates
Hygrozyme, CalMg Solution, Epsom salts,
Micro Nutrient Solution containing Bo, cu... Super Bloom
Dutch Master Foliar Spray Veg & Bloom, Dutch Master Penetrator
Bat Guano Jumbo Bud Jumbo Green
Superthrive Roots Excelurator H2O2,disinfects water, oxygenates

Here are the things that limit yield, in descending order. First and most important is genetics. All other things equal, the highest yielding plant will always outdo the others. Second is light. More light, more yield. Third is water. More water, more yield. Fourth would be rootspace and/or grow medium. Fifth is nutrients, but it's a 'pale' fifth and completely dependent on the four before it. The real biggie is water. It's the area we can all use more skill at, unless we're hydro.

Most all products on the mkt will get you there if you bang yor head against the wall wiffem n dial em in. blood was rite bout the gene's n all, nutes are only a piece o da puzzle though an important 1. labels will help but your own as well as others experience will do best and til ya get your chops, less is morr. I like duin lucas w/ GH mic n bloom for coco n dwc,(ok in ebb n flo too but there's prolly better) @ 1to2 ratio at fist couple a wks n 2to3 for veg but there are others on this site with better info on subject. check out johnny chimpo's D39 scrog n rez's "the recipe", good luck findin' the nute grail
