What now?

If they haven't charged you yet then I don't think they will.
Not sure how it works in your area, if they arrest you and take you to the cop shop or just get your name and send out a summons.
I think maybe they couldn't be bothered doing the paperwork.
I wouldn't phone them as that will remind them of your matter and maybe they will think we better get on to it.
Just hope that more important thing happen to take up their time and they will forget about your matter.
Maybe pulling up your plants satisfied them that they had done their job and they will leave it at that.

it's probably more of a DA situation now
maybe officer McFriendly put the paper work through to the DA office, maybe he didn't
but the DA may or may not go further, there will be some set time by which they must prosecute, or just let it pass

Had those classes myself along long time ago. And mandatory AA as well. Over 30 years ago.
And I will update, but still no word. Thank God. I am sleeping again. My Mom use to say, "this too shall pass". Hopefully it already has. ~mT

That is good news and it probably has passed. Like another person said, don't ask around about it. I had something similar happen long ago where I wasn't "rolled up" aka arrested. My attorney called the DA once and I was just a person of interest. Nothing ever happened but my goodness it played on my nerves big time!

I would consult (not necessarily retain) a local attorney as it's generally free. Explain the story.

To be honest, I know it's wrecking your nerves and it really doesn't help when others chime in but from personal experience I truly feel you're in the clear man. If they didn't arrest you at the time chances are very slim they ever will.

When I was young I was a criminal and did (non violent) crime for a living. I never was later arrested when the cops let me walk from a situation. I was even in a full blown swat raid but released "pending charges" while they were leaving, it amounted to nothing. No court, nothing.

Wishing you the best man, get some rest as it certainly appears that your in the clear. I would hold off on growing for a while and when you do, do it for personal use indoors. Take care man.

Hello IC, good afternoon! Still no word, It's been 5 weeks. Although I'm still looking over my shoulder, crouching down low, it seems safe to say this adventure is over.
I'm still trying to process this whole thing. Your input, both positive and negative, has helped.:tiphat:
I was looking at a beautiful garden, harvest fast approaching, looking forward to experimenting with topicals. All my eggs were in that one awesome basket! Instead I've had to break out the one hitter. Not looking forward to finding a friend with a friend. It's been a long time since I've had to score a sack.
Enough crying. Like always I will gather my resolve and move on. Life has been an interesting ride, that's for sure.

Hey DDR, thanks for "chiming in"! Posting your experience helped me to deal with this. Even the chastisement from some members forced me to "man up" in my mind and face my consequences.:thank you:

my experiece shows:

it's common for them not to arrest you at the moment, I know of more than one case where they came in busted a grow, waited months and months (6+) then actually arrested the people living in the grow house.

Once they get in it becomes a fishing expedition for whatever they can find that they dont like.

Its a drug case. So they will be fishing for whatever they like... they would like to take for themselves under the guise of "Civil Asset Forfeiture."

The officer may have not wanted to arrest you either seeing as it is for medical, he may have been a nice guy about it but that is best case scenario and I am hoping that is what it is, Good luck and keep your nose clean.

Almost 2 months, there's still a chance you'll get a summons in the mail, but it grows slimmer with each day. If you make christmas without hearing anything I wouldn't worry about it much after that. MN is pretty lax on pot
