County Marijuana Bust
Send us your comments about news stories.
County man is arrested and charged with growing marijuana.

As Channel xxxx xxxxx reports, the suspect's decision to develop pictures at a local drug store, ultimately led to his arrest and the end of his growing operation.

"He had numerous plants in different growing phases, he had finished products of marijuana. He had very elaborate grow cabinets that are quite expensive, all the chemicals and pretty much everything needed to produce marijuana indoors."

And that's exactly what authorities say 37-year old xxxxx was doing inside his xxxxx home.

xxxx was arrested Tuesday after he had pictures of his marijuana plants developed at a local drug store.

Someone at the store alerted authorities.

"It's something that we're not gonna tolerate in the county and it's obviously something important to him that he was proud enough to take photographs of and he was proud of his product and fortunately for us he was caught."

xxxxxxx is a friend of the suspect.
He says xxxxx is not a drug dealer... And he doesn't consider him a criminal.

xxxxx "He was growing hydroponics marijuana for himself himself, you know, not to sell or anything to anybody else. He just done it for his own medical purposes."

xxxxxx told us he suffers from a bleeding ulcer and he says marijuana eases his symptoms.

Moving marijuana growing operations inside is nothing new in xxxxxx County.
It's a trend Sergeant pig says he's seen for some time.

[leo; "A lot of people do move their grow operations inside. They know that we fly with an airplane. They know that people can see it outside, so they'll move it inside."

xxx was released on bond Wednesday afternoon.

i didnt know the guy and lol glad i dont. but some thing tell me hes a x member of og and a currnet member of PG . But still how do the cops know it was his dope hell the pics could be over a year old. but they did convice a judge to give them a search warrent. this small town a grow of 2 b-day candles would make frount page news another bad guy go to prison. but are my pics on this site and other realy safe. who knows could be my door they bust open next. but here they think if you grow it your selling it and they going to break any law they can to get it off the streets so they can be safe lol. but still i know better than to have my grow pic devolped at a lab there all ways ratting folks out. bet the rat at the lab just got a nice rasie and a bounus for cleaning the street of drug pusers.

I don't think that pics on here are that large of a concern. It should be a given that this applies under rules #1 and #2 - "Don't tell anyone about your grow." Which translates to - "Dont broadcast to your community that your grow a plant that's considered to be illegal." He pretty well brought it on himself. Anyone should have known better. Especially if the guy is smart enough to grow the plant. You'd think it was common sense.

i feel bad for the guy, i just feel that it wasn't a mistake that needed to be made. i guess we all make stupid mistakes about something and his happened to involve an act seen as wrong by the deceived leadership of out country

I wonder when the pigs will realize its IMPOSSIBLE to "keep it off the streets" and do something rational... All they are doing is driving up prices and allowing for more shitty product to be available. :moon:

Gee....why do you think they would want to drive drug prices up?

So that when they make a bust they can call it a "$5,000,000,000 drug bust" instead of a 5,000 dollar one... So that corrupt cops are more valued... So that people will stop using it all together. :bat:

I understand why they do it, but I will never understand the logic behind the system.

Hey Stevr59, did you happen to see this follow up story?

Edited for vagueness. Gotta protect thy neighbor.

A photo lab in This town developed photographs depicting numerous marijuana plants, along with firearms and paraphernalia. The clerk at the photo lab was able to get the vehicle tag off of the car that dropped of the film. The vehicle came back to Some guy in this town.

Deputies went to that location and spoke with That guy about the photographs. Guy admitted to taking the photographs and told deputies that he was growing marijuana plants using hydroponics inside his residence.

He gave deputies consent to search his residence,
at which time they found three large grow cabinets with artificial lights, valued at approximately $15,000.00. There was also a marijuana drying machine located in the residence. Deputies also found approximately 30 marijuana plants at different stages of growth, as well as a large amount of dried marijuana. A large quantity of growing chemicals and fertilizers were also found inside the residence.

The marijuana that was seized has a street value of over $30,000.00. Guy stated that he was growing the marijuana for personal use. Guy was charged with cultivation of marijuana and possession of narcotic equipment. He was released with a $2000.00 bond. A photograph of Some Guy is attached to this email.

This guy was so proud of his grow that he admitted it and let them in to see for themselves? Why didn't he just drive a few towns over and drop the film off? At the least he could have said the film was mailed to him from out of state and not deffinately NOT let them in.

Damn, what ignorance. Gives me the chills. The cops didn't even have a warrant in hand.

I need a drink. -Joe

Nah man....when you are making a profit off of something, increasing it's price is only beneficial.
