x2... its what i normally listen to though. some ska and rocksteady tooreggae...lots of dub...heavy bass... cliche, but me and the ladies love it
(edit - f*ckin spidermites probably diggin it too... lol)
slightly stoopid is okay. not a big fan. but if u like them check out West bound train, Hepcat, the slackers. all great bands in similar styles..If any of you guys like Sublime, check out Slightly Stoopid.. Brad Nowell signed them to Skunk Records when he was still in High School. Really similar sound, bit more reggae flavor and a bunch of songs that reference our fav. herb
Massive Attack, Portishead, People Under the Stairs, Black Keys, Tribe Called Quest, Sneaker Pimps, Kings of Leon, DJ Krush "Strictly Turntablised" album, Ez3kiel, and maaybe some Dub Pistols.
I can mess with foliar nutes if it works man. A little ambiance never hurts, even if I'm not in the room.
Have you ever heard those "sounds of nature" tracks? Some of them are thunderstorms, rain etc...not sure what (if any) effect they'd have on the girls but I have a buddy who swears it's some of the most relaxing sounds he's heard. It isn't even music but I sleep pretty good when I hear the rain outside my window...silence keeps me awake and keeps my mind racing.
I'm sure there's some of that stuff with bird sounds too, might be worth trying just to see if it really does have an effect on the girls.
