Packing and sorting continues, derailed only minimally by the bottle of prosecco my wife opened up to split with me.

The older German shepherd and the puppy GSD played a game of intense tag around the three trailers, and for a while, specifically circling the boat trailer. Then when the 6+-month-old pup would get ahead of the 2-2/3-year-old female German shepherd, the female pup would slow down a bit to keep her engaged.

Then the older GSD stealthily hid behind the tarps hanging over the edges of the 4-place trailer where the tarps on each side descended like curtains, and she laid in wait for the puppy to walk by. Classic. The old line about age and stealth winning out over energy and youth any day!

My wife says the two went at this game of tag for well over 10 minutes, and when we expected them to be exhausted from such an intense play time, the older GSD was merely panting a bit, but able to take part in more, and the puppy seemed more or less completely unphased by the whole aerobic stint.

Little fuckers! We'll nudge them toward nap time one way or another!! Like infants and toddlers, they are.

@Hermanthegerman I posted a couple tunes the other day from George Fest, but not this one. Thanks!!

Serving some minimum-security time in 1972 or 1973, and my mother visiting the campus to take me out on a pass for some clothing shopping, looking across the tops of the circular racks of clothes in the store, and this tune stuck in my head.

With the Jesse Dixon Choir, no less. A beautiful version.

Still have this on cassette tape.
