Saw Sting opened for the Dead at RFK in like '94. Garcia came out at the end of Sting's set and they did 'Tea in the Sahara' into 'Consider Me Gone.' Best stuff of the night. Garcia was totally into it. The Fat Man Boogied.
i give a like if i listen to it and like it. or sometimes if it's a recording i'm allready familiar with. i have a quite far span in my music taste, anything from old country songs to black metal. pretty much anything but modern pop has something for me in it. love this sub forumBy the way, as a personal statement of clarification, I never or rarely check off on a tune with any rep response unless I actually listen to the thing at least part way.
If I checked off on a tune that I liked it, it's because I listened to at least part of it, and actually liked it, or at least found it pleasant.

Life's too short for patronizing or placation.
Feedback is a good thing, if given in proper context, no matter the subject.
Carry on. This is a good sub-forum, despite probably my/our using an inordinate amount of bandwidth.
I'll reiterate what I once said to rod58 in another sub-forum (food), paraphrasing and maybe expanding to be more accurate. "If world peace is ever achieved, it'll likely have to be done around a table of foods from each person's ethnic, national or cultural groupings, or music, as those are the 2 contexts in which it becomes more difficult to hate on each other."
