Was gifted Twango Bango II just after it came out and it quickly became a regular on rotation.
Already familiar with David but this album introduced me to Wally Ingram.
I instantly fell in love
This video is still among my all time live performances.
#6 (around 36:30) is extra fun due to the interplay btwn Dave and Wally.
Glad it's still up on YT.

Thx. Emmylou's voice is instantly recognizable. Dunno why but I kept getting a "Mary Jane's Last Dance" vibe from the tune (not the content).

How did I reach this ripe old age w/ out knowing about this fabulous instrument? lol
Took me down a short rabbit hole this a.m. as I immediately thought of "The Hurdy Gurdy Man" by Donovan. Mom's just loved him and I was just kinda 'meh' back then. Discovering how the song came to be and what it's about was fun I enjoy learning new stuff, esp. about music and ... weed
