Back in the day I had to hide the fact that I liked this. My head banger friends would have eviscerated me. I came out eventually though and admitted that I was a New Wave fan and many joined me. It was a rough time back in the 80's. When music like this first started coming out the diehards were very vocal and aggressive against bands like Simple Minds, Blondie, B52's, etc.. But a few years later it was mainstream and the hard core rockers that didn't get on board were ignored. They became the minority and we all moved forward with the explosion of great music.
