What kind of customer are you......

If you feel like you got screwed somehow, by, say, a business, or a club you pay money for, or a school you pay money for...etc.....
How do you [generally] find yourself to act?

Do you shrug it off, take the loss, and move on?
Or do you make a fuss, and fight for what you think you deserve (lets say you rightfully deserve whatever it is you want, in this case, to make it easier)

I'm just wondering, because I often fight tooth and nail, often over principle, for what I feel I rightfully deserve, whether it is when dealing with a business, or a school, etc, and some people laugh at me for it, because I make a fuss rather than shrug things off that I deserve.

I just did what I do, actually, and pushed & pushed until I was allowed registration for a class that I'd been told was closed & full. I'm now grinning ear to ear, and I will continue to not take 'no' for an answer until I get what I deserve or fail trying  :bongsmi: :bigeye: :bigeye: :bigeye: :bigeye: :bigeye: :bigeye: :bigeye:

I gets mines. I brings the ruckus Larry!

Just kidding. Seriously though, I love Leon on Curb.

Whenever I get ripped off, I of course do everything I can (without getting myself into trouble or causing further harm or difficulty to my goal) to get what I want, what I paid for.

I used to stay right where I was, until the problem was fixed.

Now days, since I've been to prison, I can't do anything when I am screwed. I have to take the shit in the ass, and then my face turns red, and I drive home cussing, trying not to take it out on the other drivers around me that quite possibly deserve it.

Getting screwed over, and being lied to...driving miles to buy something, or have a service rendered, and having it all be bullshit - this has to be one of the leading causes of hypertension, stroke, and heart-attack of all time.

Im A businessman's worst nightmare. I demand to see the boss and as soon as he shows up I demand to see his boss. You will do NO business until you have resolved my problem to my satisfaction I can promise you that.

I have taken a couch to a Large business in the back of my truck with a sign that says Furniture falls apart. I sat in front of business for all of 30 min on a Sat. my money was refunded. Something the Manager said Could not be done.

I have high speed cable that I have been paying the introductory price ( A 6 month deal) on for three years because they keep screwing up the bill.

I am an Ass when I need to be.

And sometime when I dont need to be.

P.S. I always go back to a business when I know they will have the most customers. This gets me the best and fastest results.

You are an asshole. IF you needed the class that badly you should have registered for it a long time ago when it was still open. if you wait til the last minute and now it's full, that is completely your fault, so how the hell are you getting screwed? the school didn't screw you, you screwed yourself over.

i had a similar situation but in my case it wasn't my fault. i registered for my classes 2 months ago. the due date to have them all paid for was 10/9. i didn't have them paid for (not my fault as I was waiting for my student loan money) so on 10/9 at closing time i was automatically dropped from all my classes. I knew that was going to happen so i called back the very next morning on 10/10 to re-register, and some asshole had already taken my spot. apparently they wanted that class but waited til the last minute like you and found out it was closed. so this asshole must have waited til the day after the tuition due date, knowing people would be dropped, and called registration the minute they opened to take my spot. fuckin douchebag.

anyways i just went to the class i wanted on the first day and explained the situation to the instructor, and she gave me an override to allow me into the class even though it was full. So, i handled the situation like a gentleman whereas you cried and cried to the registration office like a little bitch until they finally caved in, probably just cuz they didn't want to hear your pussy ass fussing anymore.

I am the kinda customer that is nice to the staff (esp in grocery stores) because I know how thankless a job it it to work retail.

I am not pushy, rude or loud, and don't prod things on display.

But if you rip me off or try to really jerk me about, I will hide do something very nasty like smear limburger cheese all over yer store, or release a few thousand crickets/roaches in yer place and ruin yer fookin business.....quiet like.

Don't fuck with crazy people......esp if they make an effort to be nice to ya first.

Yeah, I try to be as nice as possible to most entry level workers. Especially when the issue is not their fault anyways.

However, I will send food back at a restaurant. The only reason I go out to eat is that I don't want to cook for myself. I'd rather have people who get paid to make food for a living entertain my taste buds for a while. If I order something a specific way, and I get my food a different way, I'll say something.

If I get a steak rare when I ordered it medium-well, I'll ask them to throw it back on for a while. But if I get a chalupa with tomatoes on it from Taco Bell when I always ask for none, I'll just pick them off. Some things just aren't worth the trouble.

I find myself calling Chase bank a lot, and getting very angry until I get satisfaction. I always do though.

Smoking before-hand is a no no. I can't get as angry stoned. :joint:

I'm with genkisan and feyd: it's heartless to take out your frustrations on low level functionaries. You only ruin their day as well as yours. Unless they're being dicks to you, then it's ok.

Im a polite customer and pay for my product on time and in full. I never go at it with a non- management employ they cant help me.
I try to go to the top of the food chain. I dont want to spend 45 min repeating myself LOL.

I did fail to mention on a couple of occasions I have found myself apologizing to a manager or two when it was pointed out I was mistaken. :bashhead:

Just shrug it off. Always a nice, appreciative patron. Only when they REALLY fuck me around do I get pissed off. Especially if they're being dicks.

Yeah I've learned, early on, it was best to respect the lower works, and not attack the messenger. You can still be pushy in a way while being polite and respectful though. And you always gotta look at it from the other side's perspective before you really make a move@!
