What kick-ass cross can I make with these?

I would use Skunk#1 as the male..cross this with Golden Tiger and Durban Poison..Phenos would be easy to pick/distinguish with these realiable, old school genetics. Ive done some work with the tiger..alittle Indica influence would definitely help yield and shorten flowering. I flowerd regular GT for 77-79 days..potent as F**k, but long wait, piss poor yield..Good luck👍

Not sure I have the patience for a GT cross although it would probably be amazing. Maybe if outdoors was an option but I'm limited for space.
I was thinking maybe a Skunk #1 x Mango Chutney or even a Sage n Sour.
My current GTs are sooo sloooww. Everything else that went in at the same time is well on the way in the bud cycle but the GTs haven't even all turned yet so I dropped the daylight to 11/13
We aren't very worldly when it comes to strains. We only ever had the one strain for so many decades that we have some catching up to do :)

I vote SSH instead of Skunk1
SSH x Sage n Sour
SSH x Mango chutney

Hopefully you'll find a nice ssh male.

Sadly I don't have a SSH male. Maybe one of the others? I put 2 asterisks by the ones I have many regulars of and arranged the order better on the OP

These likely have males in the batch, so I have to choose one of these for the next main grow and maybe a couple of other females to make one or two crosses before I chop the male. I will try to preserve the pollen but I'm not going to count on it due to our high humidity here in summer.

**Blue Dream
**Durban Poison
**G13 Widow
**Girl Scout Cookies
**Golden Tiger
**Jack Herer
**Power Plant
**Rocket Fuel
**Skunk #1
**Star Killer

Tangerine dream x G13 widow. That's got to be a winner.

I may actually take you up on this suggestion
One reason being, I bought the G13 Widow to cross with my decades old unknown strain I call Golfball, which I am now ready to self to make female seeds after gathering the tools to make STS
After looking into the Tangerine Dream (which was a bonus seed) it actually looks quite impressive
The only thing holding me back is I only have one single TD seed so I wouldn't mind making some fem seeds off that also :)
Maybe I will do a full G13 W batch and boost the seed stock and bank some pollen first and do a Golfball cross and self the Golfball because I'm getting an original clone back which is about 3 decades old

Ah ok then, well in that case for me it'd be
SSH x Jack
Sage n Sour x Jack
Mango Chutney x Jack

Then if you find a nice ssh pheno to reverse I'd vote for the other ones I said.
Or if you found a decent male in the ssh x jack cross that leant towards the ssh and was faster finishing you could cross that to the Sage n Sour and the Mango Chutney, and also back cross it again to the ssh..👊

Sound advice for the sativa corner. Could be some nice plants indeed 👍

Does anyone here have experience with Mango Chutney?
It's just starting to mature a little now and it has the most beautiful, sweet, floral aroma :)
I'm really thinking this one has potential with perhaps an Amnesia Haze?? I would have to reverse one using STS to create some fem pollen
Realistically I should probably use STS to make some pure seeds from this first and attempt freezing some pollen

If you've got a keeper, don't lose it hoping the next gen will be more of the same. Obvious, but always worth mentioning.

Is selfing as good or would I be best cloning from this batch of seed?
Part of my reasoning is the difficulty, time and cost of getting seed in New Zealand and the space and time cloning takes up.

Always take clones mate, then pick your fave out of the batch and toss the rest. S1's are a breeding tool really. You're better off just F2ing a batch of seeds that you've bought. Its easier, quicker, and should give healthier seeds.
take clones of everything, keep them in a small cupboard out of the way under a 9 w led bulb. They won't grow too much. You can make your seeds at the same time. Then do your smoke test after harvest, and keep the seeds from that mum, and that clone, and toss / hand out the rest.
Then plant your own seeds. Nothing will compare to growing your own seeds. It adds so much more to a grow. But remember, only the top 1 in 20 plants from seed will be worth keeping. So don't be too gutted if the first batch of your own aren't better than your chosen clone. You'll find one eventually.

Clearing out the main tent of Wedding Cake tonight so I can finally get started
Going to run a batch of regular Skunk #1 for now and bank some seed and cross a male with the original "Golfball" clone which is about 3 decades old for a starter.
Jack is still in the post and stalled over Christmas so that will probably be next if/when it arrives :)
Another potential will be the SSH but I stunted it during re-potting so it gets another go later
Currently floating a pack of 11 Dutch Passion Skunk #1 seeds in warm water in a zip bag between 2 damp sponges ready for planting direct in 20L pots tomorrow :)
The Cookies Gelato hermied so that's going in the naughty bin 😋
The Mango Chutney will be going anther round for sure. Genetics seem sound with no hermie tendencies and if it smokes as good as it smells it will be in the top starters list :)

Have ordered 10 regular Barneys Farm Seeds G13 Haze and 10 regular T H Seeds Sage 'n' Sour to add to the mix :)
I have a few years testing yet before I can start experimenting
Who would have thought it would take so long
