What is your best soil, and for what? Yield/Potency? Taste?

thats what I'm thinking. How many ladies did you have going when you got those 24 and what strains were they. I'm hoping to get started on my soil this upcoming weekend, any suggestions on the best place to buy ROOTS organic potting soil.?

To make smaller batches of super soil, this is the amount of each ingredient needed per 1 cubic foot of base soil:

2-4 pounds worm castings
0.42 pounds or 189 grams Blood Meal(approx 12 liquid ounces)
0.42 pounds or 189 grams Bat Guano(approx 6 liquid ounces)
0.42 pounds or 189 grams Bone Meal(approx 12 liquid ounces)
1 Tablespoon Epsom Salt
1.5 Tablespoons Dolomite Lime
1 Tablespoon Azomite
Pinch or 2 of Humic Acid
Sprinkle of Mykos

Dudeman at the grow shop told me they are getting the biggest yield out of coco in airpots. I've also read that coco gives you a better taste as well. I picked up some coco, i forget what kind lol-and a 3 gallon airpot last time I went

Thats what I have heard, water night before TP and then right before to ensure that the root ball is wet in order to minimize the stress on your plant. Is that correct seems to make the most sense to me from what I have read. Also you say you wait to see roots coming out of your pot, at ur seedling/veg stage what size pots are you using, just curious.

I start in peat pellets then when they're established and roots are poking out I move them into six inch pots. Once the plant looks big enough and I see a little rootage through the drain holes it moves into either a 3 or 5 gallon container depending on what I've got space for. Sometime after the last transplant they get the flip to 12/12. I know when "it looks big enough" isn't much help, but it comes down to knowing your own rig. Variables like your genetics, skill as a plant tender, and viability of your soil mix will dictate the exact pace.

Have fun with it.:whee:

Iv'e ben running ffof mixed with medium sized silica rock with fantastic results for a couple of years now. basically i just mix 4 quartz of silica per bag of ffof. i use 0 nutes for the whole veg period. at flip I'll start to use gh 3 part and a couple other nutes at half strenght and biuld up to about 3/4 strenght. i run several 5 light rooms with 6 plants and average 7 pounds per room

Got a Blueberry Kush lady going in a 3gallon airpot with Royal Gold Coco Fiber, thing is working like a charm! I cannot believe the roots coming out the sides!, and especially so high up on the airpot. I have since got 3--5 gallon airpots, and have one with Roots Organic with a Cheesewreck, and just transplanted another lady into another airpot filled with the coco fiber. I have a set of Blumats on the way, gonna let her rip once I get a few ladies ready to go at the same time. I'm still not going to stop using Roots, but the Royal Gold Coco Fiber is awesome. Happyy toKin!!
