There are so many things you need..esp if growing in soil. From seed,Maxi-crop liquid kelp is great for the initial seed soak..just a few drops/shotglass.Alaska fish 2-1-2 is a fantastic fert..it includes molasses and vit-b-1...great for young established plants.Fox farms Big Bloom can be used just like alaska 2-1-2 for starts...but really 'shines' in the last few weeks of bloom when tapering off main ferts.I've used chems and straight organics, but have had the best results using my combining theory..it's all about the npk #'s.I've had stellar yeilds with chems in the past, but i knew i could grow a better plant with organic based ferts..trying to find the magical Phosphorous combo. The ones I use are FF Tiger,Botanicare grow,FF Big bloom,Budswel liquid bat,Maxicrop and Liquid Karma. For veg. Amendments,Epsom salt,EWC,greensand, kelp meal, soft rock phoshate, bone meal,Hi-N bat.Vit B-1 is also very necessary at transplant time.I would say the most over looked amendment is epsom salts=magnesium/sulpher.If you forget this you will have big problems !!! So it's really hard to say what is the 'ONE' thing...As a side note....I recently saw a Castor Bean plant at a nursery that was grown with nothing but Maxicrop liquid kelp...it's a difficult plant to get right and just guzzles the water, but they had a beautiful specimen...I was shocked to say the least.
Well if i was gonna say one as the thread implies, Id have to go with Cannas Rhizotonic. Good growth starts at the beginning and this stuff is the one thing ill always buy. Keep it easy ~caddy
No experience with *zyme products, but I've always understood Hygrozyme to be a superior (and quite a bit more expensive) product than Cannazym, and also SensiZym. Is Hygrozyme reallly worth 2x the price of other *zyme products?
