what is the most euphoric strains you have tried?

Most of DJ Shorts gear seems to be euphoric and have good pain relief amongst a host of other great factors in the effects. From Blue Heaven to Blueberry, Flo to F-13, and any crosses usually conatin some degree of euphoria as well such as Bubbleberry, Sweet Tooth 3, and Godberry. Even the Ducksfoot and Deep Chunk can be euphoric at first toke. On euphoric strains, late harvests can sometimes detract from some the euphoria by CBN conversion. Earlier to on time harvests are supportive for euphoria in that they will have less CBN from THC. Here is a quote from MJ Chemistry by Michael Starks; "Nonenzymatic dehydrogenation of THC to CBN appears to be the main reaction which occurs after the oily cannabinoids are secreted."

CBN is not produced in living plants at any appreciable levels, it is after harvest and drying, as CBN is the breakdown artifact of THC and maybe other Cannabinoids. You do not really find CBN in living plants.

would you not say the simple amount of active thc content is the main factor in any and all efects....resin glands mushroom up, turn amber then the degrading prosess starts....the day you crop is relative to thc content.....the terpenoid ratios will make a difference but the active thc content should be the main factor....

am i wrong??.....i thought terpenoid ratios were the deciding factor in taste and smell.....i can understand a conection between taste and high tho....some stuff like haze gives you an electric shock in the taste and in high

it sounds like there might be deep meaning to types of high`s...has anyone tryed manipulating terpenoid ratios in the genes to obtain desired efects ???...if the ratios can be tracked on paper so can the things they are relative to

Hello Sam, was referring to CBN acids as CBN itself when harvest nears. Was reading that towards the end of (late harvest) the cannabinoid production favors a high THC acid and rising CBN acid content since most biosythesis has stopped. More THC acid is being broken down into CBN acid that is being produced from CBD acid which can also accumulate because not enough energy is available to complete its conversion into THC acid. Was in Marijuana Botany, An Advanced Study: The Propagation and Breeding of Distinctive Cannabis by Robert Connell Clarke.

Meaning that a late harvest may detract some of the euphoria in an already euphoric strain by taking away some of the THC and converting it. Was also reading that the cannabinoids are secreted outside the membrane of the living cells which produce them and cease to be a part of the plants active metabolism. "Nonenzymatic dehydrogenation of THC to CBN appears to be the main reaction which occurs after the oily cannabinoids are secreted." This one is from MJ Chemistry by Michael Starks.

Ive had Satori also and she is euphoric to me. She has a caffine effect as you can go for hours and get shit done too. My girl and I broke out in laughter while knocking the boots the other day finding humor in our

oh man TMI, sorry. Euphoic, yes. Smiles, giggles. I want to eventually try some Bambata (tiki) but not enough info/logs about her. But the ones Ive read she may be right up there too.

tribal vision feedback anyone?

tribal vision feedback anyone?

i heard earlier mentioned that tripple treat is euphoric but it seems as if that strain is no longer carried by afropips distributers in its place so it seems is tribal vision which is tripple treat crossed with an ibl congo x nepalese. also it being mentioned that nepalese strains being euphoric it maked sense that tribal vision may be as well? i did a search on it but no description of the high. they did mention it was good and vigorous. but "good" is so subjective and in many ways undescriptive. any feedback on tribal vision anyone?

iwish i could pm people to ask my self hint

Agree... I have satori x kali mist and it is deeply euphoric without any trace of racyness or paranoia. A very clear and strong smoke edging the trippiness if you indulge :rasta:

You are getting close to the truth, the terpenoid ratios do change.

same dimwit (rifman) new account.

glad to learn new stuff, thanks for informing, going to read up on this :)

the most recent strain that I thought was euphoric, was blue dream, which is a blueberry -haze cross.Blue heaven a few years back.I really get the most euphoria from African strains though.Power Plant and Durban Poison, and more recently the Malawi Gold. But the Thai and Colombians of yesteryear were vehicles that would take you to amazing places and not just the land of the stoned. These are what I think of when I think of euphoric weed.Anybody with me on the African strains being euphoric? I only ask because I didn't see any pop out on this thread yet,but I will look again.

I've recently experienced my most euphoric, totally blissed out high.
Too bad it was no 'strain' but a genetical clusterf*ck called Tzunami Mix, which according to the breeder is (Thaifun Horizon x Neville's Haze) x (Thaifun Horizon x Ed Rosenthal's Superbud).
Must have been the ERSB leaning genotype which flowered only 70 days. Floral, mango smell, bliss in the head and body.
I didn't take clones, to my outmost regret. Didn't expect it to be better than the Thai I already have... :(

Its old but relevant. Himalayan strains do have a tendency to be euphoric from my experience, including himalayan gold from Gh.

I enjoy the euphoric high, but the kind that comes from narcotics.
I enjoy breaking my red eyed drunken stupor with the occassional giggle.

Over the years in searching for that effect, I would suggest the following as the best course for obtaining and fostering any characteristic or effect of cannabis, including euphoria:

1. Find a strain that has a tendency towards a euphoric effect
2. Learn how to grow and when to harvest the plant in an effort to enhance that natural tendency toward those effects
3. Learn to cure the plant so that the desired effect is enhanced.

I feel the treatment of the plant both while growing and while curing can enhance or depress the effects of cannabis. I know there are growers that don't equate the plants affect with the maturity and cure, but my experience has been that cannabis is no diffent than wine, tobbacco or whiskey, how its treated and aged determines so many of their quailities.

For example, Ive focused on Maple leaf indica of the many strains Ive grown as having the most natural tendency to produce a giggly, narcotic high. Ive grown it for years.

Grown outdoors and allowed to flower normally for 50-55 days, and cured for 120 days, the high is funny and relaxing. Nice and not too heavy.

That same plant grown indoors, flowered for 65 days, left in its container and in ground in a growing position, placed in a dark room for 30 days until the plant completely dies and dries, harvested and then cured for 150 days is devestatingly narcotic, broken only by the occassional delayed smile.

As with all plants that have come under human cultivation, learning to nurture the natural tendencies of a plant can enhance those desired tendencies , but it doesnt come about from 1 grow. I feel its a process.

2 strains that ive grown that had a tendency towards narcotic euphoria?

Maple leaf indica
G force.

The degree of narcotic/euphoric effect the grower will experience with these 2 strains will depend upon the growers familiarity and understanding of the plant and how it responds to different aspects of its enviroment.

Body chemistry is relevant.
