What Is The Best Timer To Use For Light In a Tent? Can I/Should I Use The AC Infinity Controller I Have, Or Is There A Better Option? I Have HLG Light

I am setting up a couple of 5x5 tents, and am using HLG Scorpion Diablo LED lights.

I have an AC Infinity controller 69 Pro+, but im wondering if i should even use that to set the light schedule. Ive seen people say the AC Infinity controller doesnt work the best with the light, so im curious what the best option is.

Ive heard of TrolMaster, but im not sure if that is the best option, and i want to make sure i get whatever is best.

Sounds like a very nice set-up friend. I just use 2 plain timers that plug in the wall. I guess running two 5X5s you need something professional. Those TrolMaster are expensive but would kick ass is you could get one. Keep us posted in your grows because we would like to know how they do.

If your light supports dimming from an external controller and that's important to you there are better options than the AC Infinity as it only dims 10% at a time. The TrolMaster Tent-X will dim in 1% increments and can be operated remotely like the AC. It costs a little more but the more precise dimming was worth it to me. There are other controllers available with 1% dimming that are cheaper than TrolMaster but may not have remote capability.

I do like the AC Infinity fan system and use their controllers to manage my exhaust and circulation.

My knowledge is current as of the last year or two. There could be newer better options on the market now. Happy growing!
