What is the best jar for curing

I have tried bovida but only on some stuff I let get too dry, did return some softness to it... have not used in cure stage...

The jars the olives in a restaurant or bar comes in are about one gallon in size.
If the brine smell can be washed out they may be a good option.

Mason jars for sure!! And like KONY said - you must absolutely change your lids (at least the snap lids) every harvest in my opinion. Sometimes I over torque them. Sometimes people also over do it. I find the bands also get dinged pretty easy if you drop them and can seem to not seal right? They also rust really easy :( I thought I was crazy that they seem to get ruined, glad to hear I am not alone!
