What is a Haze, what is an OG, define these terms please?

M

Mr D

OG - is only a meaningless term to those who have never encountered the real deal. One day, man. Keep your chin up!

Let me guess.....you sell something OG x hype OG. It's all cool, if you can get the kids to buy in to hype more power to ya.

Just don't pretend you know anything about me.

Frank is right
Og is not just all hype naming. There is definitely an OG type. There has been do much og x hype og that allot of stuff carrying the OG name doesn't have all the OG characteristics. It doesn't always translate in crosses. But real OG has distinct characteristics and the newer OG plants with them are the progeny of the first OGs.

Kush to me is a useless hype term. Its slapped on any indica plant to make it sound better. Usually has nothing to do with real kush.

Haze has become the same thing for sativas. But it once was a real strain.

OG isn't really the same.

All I know is I have had OG Kush, Scotts OGK, Diamond OGK (that was special), and at a socal dispensary some SFV OGK, and another I forgot.

May not be sativa / indica type of different, but damn a good OGK sure needs to find it's way into some empty jars I have.

That case is a simple mis-labeling I think, it was sent in at the same time as Ace's Mauritius male, and sits where the Nevil clone should be. Swap the two's location and it makes sense.

I agree..the sender may have done it purposely..but it shows that that whole system isnt as reliable as people think...especially with out all the starting points.. something like the example I gave of nevil's clone they couldnt even put in the right place shows that half the time ther just going by what people tell them....n thats just one mistake...ive seen others

Like buying dope at a dispensary or worse yet delivery, you have no idea what it really is, just what the label says it is.

that is very strange, as a lot of old farts which used to get haze buds from Santa Cruz in 70´ swear that brothers haze had compact long huge buds, and that the branches went down in the end of flowering by weight of buds..

..but I we know it wernt giving off indica buds...
But you have your view point an I have mine an others have thers..in the end..I know you love haze so do I.
But I wil say this..the original g13xhaze was one generation removed from those original hazes so ther will be actual factual haze phenos in it..

Actually, no.

HOWEVER. I was gifted, 39 seeds, 38 of which arrived intact - of - "Kush" s1.

These aren't your normal seeds. These are like it used to be. You only get the seeds with the names of the hands they came from, and in order to get told those names, you've been vetted and given approval - but with that, also comes certain responsibilities.

Not pretending to know or NOT know anything about you, but if you are on these boards, then I'm sure you understand, or I'd prefer to give you that benefit of doubt.

Anyway...

The goal with those seeds and in part why these particular "BTY s1" seeds are important, is their commissioned purpose. To keep sprouting seeds until a relevant plant is found, worked, made adaptable to a wider range of climate/growing conditions without a degradation in performance or product quality.

Keep sprouting seeds means, there are more and if I prove I honor the agreement with the first little batch, they can keep coming until the right genetic material is found. That's access.

The end result of that long term project - is supposed to be released and shared for free with everyone - if and only if - it passes the scrutiny of the source, and gets a nod - as representative of what OG is really supposed to be. The end goal is a feminized seed line that produce true to type, using a 7-10 standard/traditional autogamous breeding protocols.

Don't pretend to know anything about me, either. :tiphat:

If you think I'm here for the dollar, you obviously failed to read my signature!!! I'm here to open source information and release genetics, that improve the ability for others on this planet to overgrow prohibition and create freedom of choice and real, unchained opportunity in their lives. :joint:

"It can all start with a seed."

the 'larry' sfvXghost I'm growing from garden of green has the fattest most indica looking leafs I've seen in a long time, has a nice smell already too and it's barely putting on 3 nodes still in little starter pots, the candy kush and white slipper (probably) have nice indica leafs too but the larry's are bigger, the afghani actually has the most narrow leaf of the bunch, the last time I saw leafs this fat was when I grew a master kush from white label a long time ago, and I would say larry's are still bigger

OG is that jar you keep to yourself. That pungent funk earth tone tennis ball rubber smooth smoke. It grows lanky and can give you some good sized nugs if you treat her right. Hybrids and crosses attempt to add more yield but can never seem to mimick the taste. You never grow enough, she doesn't give you enough. She doesn't ever root 100% and can be picky about her health. If you can grow her right you stick to her for at least one moment of time in your lifespan. Sfv, true, fire, ghost...there's a handful of famous cuts around and 100 imitators. Sfv is a great example of how OG grows and behaves.

Not surprised if chem 91 is a parent of og or relative. Phylos can't tell us shit until they stop using skunk hemp cbd and landraces as groupings. Maybe when they have pure populations from all parental lineages (landraces). OG and chem likely share parenting in an Afghan or Paki line.

Haze is a sativa breeding masterpiece most people don't have the patience to grow or find the really phenomenal phenotypes. It is a unique strain that is a genetic powerhouse and can pass on marvelous traits to its progeny. I wish the world grew more haze.

OG means to me a viney plant with toothpick stems. Super frustrating to grow needs trellis support and training. At least that is my impression of the structure.

Man those fucking toothpick stems. And I have only ever grown OG leaners from hybrid seeds, never any of the elite clone onlys.
