Twin Owls in Estes Park, Co...

If you climbed around the back, you could climb it (just barely) without protection...
You still needed rope to pull your daypack up after you..

Climbed it first on an all day trip with a buddy and went back a few times by myself to spend the night up there....

Well if hiking counts I can claim some fame.

Plenty of national and state parks under this belt.

Shawnee State and Wayne National are where I've logged the most mileage.

But I don't climb anything I don't want to fall from.

I've hiked up Mt Warning, Mt Cordeaux, Mt Mitchell, Mt Tibrogargen, all in Australia, and a few more but can't remember the names.
Grouse grind and Strawamus Chief (2 of 3 peaks) in Canada.

More like big hill hikes than actual mountain climbing.

Love the tops of mountains though. Always get some unique vegetation.

I hear ya, mr. mustard. Those were the days. Now, I think.....if I hurt myself.....ca-ching ($$$$), pain of surgery or PT, and never fully recovering, etc.

I've been up Mt. Shasta (California) and Mt. Ruapehu (New Zealand). Ayers Rock sounds awesome as does anything around the Himalayas. Cool to see so many outdoorsy stoners :).

nice list.

washington monument is a gorgeous area. iirc, you can see four states from the top (md, va, wv, pa)

is buzzard the one outside of baltimore?

Back in the day you could see the Washington Monument from up on Skyline Drive, that ended in the late 80's, maybe the early 90's. I'm not sure if four states are still visible from the Monument or not.

Buzzard Rocks is like 10 miles west of Front Royal VA. in the Elizabeth Furnace area of the GW nat'l forest
