what does everyone use for fertilizer?

i currently use the gh flora nova grow and bloom. im contsantly having to add ph up, when i add the nutes it buffs the ph to 6 and im not sure if its ok to run it threw like that. i always have yellowing leaves and rust spots on them. i use 1/4 the recommended dose as ive heard this is some strong shit. was just wondering what everyone else uses so i can see if theres better stuff.

p.s. if this makes liek no sense im sorry, i just smoked a bowl of my freshly cut and dried nugs

I use Fox Farms organic 3 pack, you said that you have some yellowing of the bottom leaves? I think this is because of N deficiency, someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Hope this will help.

i thoguht it was a N def. but it showed signs of a toxicicty of the top half. burnt tips, the claw affect pointing down, then yellowing and brown spots then it just went and fell off. my run off always read a ph of 7. i wasnt sure if it was ok to just add the nutes when it was at a ph of 6 or if its better to ph it to like 6.5 or so

Burnt tips, I think this is the first sign of nute burn. You did say that you ferts were strong, this may be true. Also you should flush your plant with ph'd water to correct the ph, if you are growing in soil. Other than that just change the water in the res, for hydro.

I use the same GH Products and very seldom have issue. Remember to shake the s**t out of the bottle, it will set up in the bottom of the container. I premix my nutes in a cut down 55 gal plastic barrel, cut off at the 40 gal mark and filled/mixed to 35 gallon mark. If You use the barrel approach, stir it as well before dispensing.

There are as many opinions as there are forum members----------and as a matter of fact there are more than a few that really need more study, experience and counsel from the top dawgs.

happy growing and peace

personaly i use the general hydroponics 3 part formula(gro bloom micro). they sell2 different micros, get the one for hardwater, it automatically adjusts ph. works like a charm, plants love it. i have never ever tested ph, and look at my past grow.( and current)

Good luck

I use Earth Juice Grow/Bloom and Grandma'sMolasses. If I detect a nutrient deficiency I add Earth Juice Microblast. I add Earth Juice natural PH up since their formulas are very acidic(4.5) till I get a perfect 6.5(exactly two teaspoons every time).

I am thinking about switching over to Advanced Nutrients or at the very least buying their Bacteria, fungi and enzyme products to add to my bucket of earth juice brew fermenting in my tub :) .

Can anyone recommend what basic Advanced Nutrient products to buy? I care about yield just as much as I care about staying organic.

i keep hearng about this molasses stuff...what does it do for the pant? can it be any type of molasses or just the blackstrap stuff?

I used GH's FloraNova series for my first grow and was pleased. However, I was adding Cal-Mag with every feeding.

I've since switched to dry nutes; blood meal and bone meal mixed in the soil, with dolomite lime to keep the pH stable. I now only water, and it's working out great.

6 is to low. Sure it will work, but for healthy plants, make sure you are at 6.3-6.8 using a pen. What soil are you using? Test your soil by testing the run off and make sure it is between those numbers. Once you have your water/soil ph down you can go from there. Sounds like you have nute burn, etc... Can you post a pic?
I use fox farm and I add lime/etc to soil when I trans. I make sure water/nutes are between those numbers no matter what. Then I can figure out if any probs are nute related. I also use kelp and all sorts of stuff.

Canna Tera Vega and Flores.
Outdoor just follow the instructions.
For indoor i would be more careful and only start out with 1/2 or 1/2 the recommended and work my way up from there.
Apart from the level recommendations its a fabulous nutrient used combined with rabbit poo

if you havent already check your soil, as the toxitity level may be high due to nutes or maybe it was like that from the beginig. some companies sell some pretty hot stuff out the bag.

Hey dude,

I use the earth juice line in my soil grow. Ej grow, bloom, catalyst, micro-blast and meta-K. I used to use just the grow bloom and cat but was having deficiency problems, magnesium and manganese i believe, had mad necrotic spots all over and slowed down growth. Picked up some Micro-blast and fixed the problem in 1 feeding. EJ is cheap easy and organic, and if you use it right you can get AMAZING results!! Of course this is all imo. Good luck.
