Humidity change caused that. She got all used to her old climate and you switched it real fast. Air conditioners inherently de-humidify the air. I think a humidifier would solve this. Get the range back up to 40-50%.

Look at the fourth pic in post #23. See how it looks like the leaf got wet, smooshed, and then dried all crispy and ugly looking. Humidity for sure. I dunno about pH, Ocean Forest has shells in it that buffer pH PERFECTLY with FF nutes (When you follow instructions). I haven't touched a pH kit or meter my whole grow and haven't had any pH problems. I think maybe you're overdoing it with the pH business. *The soil is designed so that you don't have to adjust pH when used with FF nutes. I don't think it would have a problem with other nutes as well - maaaybe a lil low with extremely acidic nutes (they usually tell you this on the bottle) I was suprised at how much healthier a plant looks when a humidifier is added.

i'm just going from what most people have said, but humidity has been mentioned as well, I added a humidifier last week, but it hasn't helped. humidity stays in 20's sometimes low 30's, I dont understand why it's not raising humidity, I spent about $32 it's a vicks cool mist humidifier. I'm going to try a hot towel method somebody mentioned.

I just got jorge cervantes latest book, and according to all pictures it's an Mn deficiency issue, all pictures, match early stages (that's what top leaves look like), progression of Mn deficently and later stage of Mn deficeny.

it says how to fix it, but I can't understand a couple words maybe somebody could help:

Treat Deficiency: Lower the Ph (how much?), leach the soil (leach?), and add a complete, chelated (chelated?) micronutrient formula. I'm using Fox Farms grow big and big bloom.

so can somebody explain to me what he's saying?

dnb, you can get your PH straight by applying 1tps/per gallon of dolomite lime or 1/2tps a gallon of water of hydrated lime. The hydrated lime works immediately to correct your PH, in a couple hours. Dolomite is slower acting.

He probably means too leach out (flush) your pot with a ph adjusted water (use lime) and it will help to neutralize your soil. Then give them a full spectrum fertilizer with micros to fix the Mn deficency. I would fix with Peters 20-20-20 with micros. That would get you back to homeplate. :2cents:
