What car should i buy?

Get one of these. Nobody will see you... well you have to push the button inside that makes the car invisible, but after that you are set.

what is your price range again?

station wagons are nice but if you are transporting meds you want a locked trunk. having a backpack with some weed will stink up an SUV or wagon real quick.

i know some of those Minivans have secret compartments in the floor that could fit a backpack with your buds vacsealed inside.

but i would still go with a car with a nice trunk...gives extra security for smell and the cops will not see any bags, etc in your backseat that might get them suspicious...

like i said...Subaru Legacy....its got AWD and gets 30mpg and has a nice style...if the moonshine runners had subaru legacys they would have moved way more booze lol...these cars glide over offroad trails like its nothing, hit corners at high speed with ease...try doing that in a front wheel drive camry you will up sideways.

^haha dope car....i think the best "smugglers" are subaru, super square cars. only people who ride subarus are yuppie liberals..not dope dealers.

toyota camrys are good and common, but real boring to drive.

i like the buick lesabres, but around here lots of ghetto kids rock buicks so cops know whats up...

i rock subaru legacy...super chill car..30mpg....and AWD in case you need to shake the cops!! ive seriously done u-turns on the freeway with this thing, gone offroad rally racing, and one time in SF blew a few redlights and made a few quick turns to shake the police one night......love my subbie!

and drifters bro

For the price range I'd go with the Subaru, or the Buick,....

Or go cheap as fuck, and find an old school Toyota truck. I had one that had been rolled over offroading 11 separate times, and never got stopped in it!! (inspite of it not having a single lens on any light!)

need a car with good MPG, reliable, 5-15k....and want to get a car that will not attract ANY attention from police, in case i happen to have soemthing illegal on me.....was thinkin maybe toyota camry or something.

needs to blend in well and be inconspicuous. what do you guys think? honda? ford taurus? i get real paranoid about being pulled over, even tho i dont speed, some highway patrol are real assholes
I own a Camry and it is the most reliable car I've ever owned. A bit boring to drive but it never breaks down and never attracts any attention. Cheap to buy and run too. :gday:

^i was in the car business before the MMJ business and we saw several audi A4 engines overheat...like catch on fire on the side of the freeway burning...and not old audis im talking early 2000 models...almost everyone i knew who owned an a4/passat had nothing but problems..blown turbos, overheating, electrical system, oil sludge....
http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Reliability.aspx?year=1999&make=Audi&model=A4
http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Reliability.aspx?year=2002&make=Audi&model=A4

i would stay away from anything audi/volkswagon, theres a reason why the three dealerships i worked for never bought a passat or a4, i dont know where you got the bulletproof motor from. did i mention the front skidgaurds also fall off?

i think the only subie boy racer cars are WRX, and yes thats a terrible car to smuggle in, anything that gets you pulled over for loud exhaust, racing, is bad..... a legacy does not fall into the boy racer category as long as you keep it stock..

they did an episode on Top Gear where they took an old toyota t100 and drove that shit into the ocean...it sat submerged and then pulled it out and it still started! they took that truck through the ringer it kept on running...

OTOH, a nice 1980's vehicle like the Delorean might be just the thing: a stainless steel body that will never rust; a kick-ass suspension system borrowed from Lotus; and a Renault R-16 drivetrain that begs for some super-tune goodies. With any luck, you might find one with the optional "Cold Fusion Flux Converter". :)

Based on personal experience I would advice:

Nissan Sentra, white and NO tinted windows... add a baby carriage or such in the back as well as some baby items (get all used at Good Will).

The Sentra is an ultra reliable ride!

That's a great suggestion.

greenmatter

^ can you elaborate on this greenmatter? Id like to know more...

well i suppose the first reason for me would be i personally like vw's. on why should a grower drive one A. like the toyotas there are plenty of them out there. B. if you don't pimp it (rims, tires and exhaust) you don't really see it C. put the back seats down and you can get a ton of stuff in that little car D. even stock VW's have some balls and mine gets 30-35 mpg E.the glass on most of them has a good factory tint F. germans build good stuff and these are not as hard to fix as the anti VW crowd claims if you know your way around a tool box.

all in all that is JMHO

sentras are good cars, but unless its a 2010 id try to get something bigger. no point sacrificing your own safety, get a midsize or fullsize sedan so you have a little more protection in case old drunk guy in his f-350 super diesel turns your sentra into a pancake.

nissan maxima is nice...decent gas mileage, nice fullsize car. acura TL, Lexus Es300, infiniti I35 are all lowkey but luxurious cars that would be good for what you need them for...but not having to sacrifice on creature comforts for a rattlebox aluminum can gas saver like an integra or civic...personally if i was the OP id get a 2000 Lexus LS400 in gold or silver and keep it stock. really nice car but lowkey and boring at the same time. the 4.0 toyota v8 motor is the most reliable on the planet and gets around 20mpg...

most growers i know have trucks...big ones. know like five guys with the newer Toyota Tundras, a couple got the Chevy silverados and sierras...dodge rams. i guess all that dope money helps pay the gas lol. plus some of trucks got bedliners you can sneak some poundage into...and they come in handy when hauling a bunch of hoods or flood trays...personally after getting into a Tahoe i can barely stomach driving my integra anymore...such a small little sardine can im tempted to sell it..

gotcha... the way you worded your first post really had me believing that the two cars you mentioned had some mysterious abilities to avoid detection by police radar while speeding down the road if you put steel rims on them... :biglaugh:

vw passat or jetta ..... steel rims and you are off radar.

Get a boosted suzuki hayabusa. Just one twist of the wrist and you will turn into a little black dot on the horizon. Even the coppers won't be able to keep up! :)

Serously though

brand new: Corolla or civic if u wanna max your 15k. Yaris if u want a hatch. Nissan versa sedan if u want to save some $.

used: Well tons of options... pick your poison.

.

Give me a break. ALL cars now are sissy boxes with 800lbs of safety features. Anything you buy now will be safe. Besides YOU make the safety. Don't rely on the car's gizmos.
