i rarely smoke joints, roaches are usually used a day or two after they are created :)

although for a while i was rolling a few generation joints, but in a different way than described... i'd jsut roll the weed in the roach into the end of a joint with fresh weed... so it was all fresh except for the end of the joint, which i would use as the end i smoke from, so that the newly created roach is a 2nd gen roach... in my eyes anyway. i think i heard of it as a "grandfather" roach. so yeah... i got like 2 or 3 generations in then forgot it was a generation roach and smoked it

Be creative. Throw all your roaches in a jar. Leave them alone, and let them pile up. You can easily save quite a bit in a fairly short period of time.

You could use them in an emergency. Or, you could take the paper off all the roaches, grind up herb, as fine as you can achieve, and combine with grain alcohol. The end result is a wonderful medicine, Cannabis Tincture. :canabis:

Of course, there is more to the recipe than that, but you get the idea. :D

if you want to smoke joints and smoke 100% of the bud in the joint and not burn your fingers or waste a single speck of bud then try this....

.....roll your jays with a cardboard filter on the mouth end ..then after it is rolled and licked, pull the cardboard filter out about an 1/8 ~ 1/4 of an inch so there is an "air gap" between the filter and the bud...the overhanging filter can be snipped off with scissors or left there ..I prefer to trim it off....and then smoke your jay down to nothing....zero wastage, and no burnt fingers!....no sloppys either..as the cardboard is 100 times firmer and wet lip resistant than just paper (that's if you share the jay with sloppy, wet lipped bastards!)

....roll about a half inch by one inch of business card type cardboard into a cylinder shape about the size of the intended jay...put this on the paper, then put the ground up bud on the paper and start rolling..you'll find that the cardboard cylinder makes the joint ten times easier to roll as the form is there ....and the jay will be look just like a cigarette, perfectly cylindrically round!.

..it will smoke better and did I say you won't get burnt fingers? lol..some roll the jay and then stuff the "filter" in after ( but you have roll the cardboard fairly tight and it will expand after it is inserted..I prefer to roll the jay with the filter and bud together.

and I'm sure there will be die-hards who say " I smoke my jays down to nothing and waste nothing so there's no need for filters" or "Cheech and Chong never used filters" etc etc

...lol..

just try it and you'll never look back!..and don't forget the air gap!

I always roll my blunts with filters. We usually just use the cardboard from the blunt box, usually Dutch Master Honey Sports. I don't pull them away from the ganja that 1/8th inch,... we usually just smoke it close or the laste person will get a little cardboard (tastes bad - but youre usually feeling good at that point anyway).

Blunts with filters are 11tybillion times easier to blow shotguns with... gotta try it.

speaking of shotties....apparently, shotguns are very popular in Russia...

I don't mind giving or recieving shotties, ......so long she has nice breath!..,,and doesn't go "wolf"

call me home-phobic....but I'm liable to snatch the jay from some guy rather than catch a 12 gauge puff from 2 inches away...yee-ahhhh!

99% of Indians that I've met will smoke a jay chillum style if offered..Indian Indians that is ....Hindu Indians with the jay held airtight between cupped hands and inhaled.... so not to put their lips on where another's lips have been.....they do tend to overeact, or is it a caste thing?

during the SARS scare a few years ago,.....I was in HK airport and saw a family of Indians,,their kids of 7, 9 and 12 were wearing face masks ( and no one else was), and rubber gloves (not surgical, but the type you wash dishes with!..lol) ...and the gloves kept falling off and the kids were running around like maniacs..lol..the parents were panicking ......they are panic merchants! or should I say very, very careful people?.....

my best mate is from India, he smokes and shares jays just like us..but when SARS was the scare he wore a mask, gloves etc like his life depended in it.......

In Taiwan during SARS everyone on the local underground rail system had to wear a mash .it was compulsary..it was freaky to look down the crowded carriage and see every single person wearing a surgical mask ....maybe thats the future?

anyway........ back to doing away with burnt fingers.........

Each pack has 33 leaves (Skunk Brand , tha best ), and I buy 3 packs at a time , and take maybe a third outta tha house so .......got maybe 60-70 in here

I buy rolling papers by the box...5 boxes at a time, 500 packets, the store will usually cut you a good deal for buying bulk.

...I hate running out of papers!...when I'm down to the last 50 packets I race out and buy 3 ~ 5 boxes again..then again I have to, as there isn't a smoke shop for a thousand or two miles around here'a

roaches are not just a smelly waste, if the house is searched by the Plant Police then a big ol' jar of roaches is easily found and might get you handcuffed!.....

...think security, think cardboard filter and an air gap

another way is to roll yoru joint with a 1/4 inch of tobacco between the filter and the bud.....when you hit the baccy, put out the joint....if that's no good, then put a 1/4 inch or more of broken up non-resiny leaf at the end of the joint.....there's no reason to allow bud to be left unburnt/unsmoked at the end of a jay as it tastes like ass when re-lit

At the end of the summer I had enough second generation roaches that I rolled a third generation joint.

we did the same shit w/ blunt roaches but we called 2nd gens "son" blunts. 3rd gens were "grandson" blunts and so on. the furthest i recollect getting was to 5th gens, wasn't much but it fucked you up bad! just tasted like shit rolling :no:

I either go the filter route, smoke them to nothing using my roach clips or donate them to my friend who runs into hard times quite often due to money concerns. It all depends on my mood really.

I'm with Chamba, I've been rolling filter joints for 25 yrs + rolled with one of those French rolling tins - worn several of them out.
I do sometimes wonder if I'm copping any nasties from the cardboard tho.....

i am of the school that i will just roll the blunt/joint/spliff between my fingers over the bowl of a pipe/bong while it is still lit from smoking the joint in the first place. dont even have to light it again 90% of the time.

smoke away and no roaches to deal with, they taste bad to me but im picky about taste (why i prefer personal bong rips over anything but a vape) and have smoked enough resin for the rest of my life, even at my young age.
