I dont know if I got a bad strip last time...but I grabbed a couple no pest strips from hot shot, cause everyone on this board has said that they work great for mites....Not for me. I hung them inches from the foliage...and hell I saw the little fuckers running across the strip, it didn't phase em :)

Don't know about "hot shot", haven't used them. Not cause they're not good or anything. I just happened to be at the hydro shop picking up some other stuff and the guy said they'd just started carrying these. Said I oughta try it, so I bought one before I had a problem. It's been known to bring down small aircraft and poorly built homes, lol. Not really, but it's good.

Just a thought. Or ya could just love the little boogers to death! Sorry :bat:

You guys say they are hard to get rid off cause i squashed the ones i could see and sprayed some stuff drenching the plants twice, and havnt seen another?

Trust us if they are thrips one or 2 spraying may have killed all the adults...just you wait....once the larve mature they will be back.

I wish you luck...I really do....I had those on and off 2 summers ago......I bombed and bombed and bombed in between bombing I was using neam oil and the fuckers just kept coming. I would knock'em down for a week but then once another set turned to adults it was like starting all over. I know you do not want to hear this but only way I finially got rid of them completely was complete shut down for a solid 4 months. During that time I sealed every place I could and then rubbed neam oil on any vent that was going to exhaust. So far 2 years running no thrips, no spidermites, no gnats. I have had them all. I also decided last summer to completely shut down for June, July and August as well because it is just too damn hard to keep your grows insect free during the summer with all that heat going on and all the insects coming to life. I started early this year with the shut down and have pretty much decided to take the summer off. I usually start my veg room back up middle of july and my first set of clones or seedlings into the room by last week in October. Even that is a risky move as when it starts turning cold at night you can count on those fuckers finding a way into the heat. Bad thing about them is they fly...so once you have em it really hard to isolate the problem.
