I will share a post I made in another section, but in order not to double post, I will just give the link to the other post. This is a documentary about the origin of the cultic use of cannabis from the people of the Eurasian steppes. These tribes, of which the most famous are the scythians (from Herodotus's fame), were the original dope fiends and started the first historically attested cannabis (as in mind altering hemp) culture. never saw the movie but i read the book. really good. there probably really was a civilization in the Amazon.
