I havent encountered any issue in years using it, I dont even use antivirus or any of that bullshit (excessive torrent downloader also, never a virus or malware etc issue from that either). Windows update honestly has caused more issues than anything else over the years lol.

I had Windows 10 completely crash 3 times due to updates. Using an obscure version of Linux, but still worry about viruses. Maybe I will buy an old laptop, just for TV.

DO NOT USE 123MOVIES!!!!! It is full of malware.

I tried to pay a bill, and it is trying to redirect me to a fake site, after visiting 123movies. When on that site it redirected me to several unwanted pages, which probably installed the malware.

That's because MS (M$) was built allowing viruses and malware to run on their operating system. Linux doesn't. You use no anti virus software on it. You can, but it's even better not to.

Google "download Linux Mint". Download it. About 1.6GB. Read instructions how to make that into a bootable copy onto a thumb drive. Run it. You can make your computer into a dual booting machine and choose on the start screen either to boot Windows 10 or Linux Mint. If you run into problems the Linux Forums is very helpful and nice to newb's. I personally chose to write my hard drive over Windows 10. I have always hated it. But you might wanna keep it until you feel 100% comfortable using Linux.

I did that years ago and never looked back. M$ sucks big donkey dick. Mint is only one version in Linux and then there are a bunch of desktop looks to choose from but looks a lot like Winduhs. It's open source but if you just use the Linux software you'll never have a problem. Security is very important to them. And that's not just lip service.

I warned you about being ready to close a pop up page after every other click, Ive never let it load a pop up page before and not had issues. Sorry about the hassle Loc Dog.

Somehow Hearts in Atlantis is mixed in the gunslinger world.that book was good but that movie was terrible too.

I watch the TCM channel a lot. Those old B&W movies are so cool. I like no commercials too. But makes for a long couple hours sometimes....See? Sometimes the slang is hilarious.

woke up with a serious case of flaming kaiju breath this morning...
which inspired me to toss a couple of big G movies on the barbie:
Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla (2002)
Godzilla: Final Wars (2004). soundtrack by keith emerson (of ELP),
and is far more jazz prog synthy than usual.
