Cheers Mayhem84 its very strong but no lemon taste really hard to describe smell. But not one of mine so not sure of actual lineage guess it may have come from Canada as they also sell purple kush. certainly nice stone though you only need a little bit.

How did your Casey Jones smell Pheonix. I've got it just starting flower at the moment. My friends just finished her going to try it tomorrow. But he tells me it doesn't smell very much which I found strange. Can only guess his temps were to high towards the end of flowering. Last one I did had a nutty smell. Its the TCCJ pheno.

I've had a honey bee extractor & high purity butane gas for a very long time now so at some point in the next few weeks I'm going to try my first BHO extraction, I don't have trim just greasy, oily, sticky buds that are not to my desired flavour so will sacrifice them & see what the craic is

Make some rosin mate, far quicker and you don't need to worry about purging off the butane. Without an oven or a tried and tested water bath long purge, you're risking butane contamination and nastyness.

Rosin is fully organic with a fiver pair of hair straighteners.

If you're going to make oil, I'd put this in the recycling and get a decent glass tube. Butane and plastics are not a good combination.

I would also say you absolutely must have a means of purging the oil properly, otherwise you're putting your own health at risk, which we don't want.

I would strongly second what Piff said and make Rosin. There's a great thread on here, go have a look at the weird and wonderful tech people are coming up with to squish with!!
