What's with that raw eggs thing in asia @FTL @chilliwilli , i don't get it. 😅 Even the ones in the baked balls are still raw, how are they doing it?

The ice tea looks more like a fruit shake with bits and pieces in it!?

I’m a bit jealous of that food and stunning location :D
Others would also say that about japan where you are! 😁

Btw, still wondering why there are 2 identical theads but this one is without the like button, the other has it!? I'm not a Like whore ^^ but you know how it is, especially with stoners... sometimes you just want to show your appreciation or want to leave a quick laugh with one click. :)

Thanks for sharing Chilli your previous posts escaped me..

A lot of love has gone into those dishes, straight from the heart.

The soup for breakfast looks utterly devine man, I would kill a bowl of that..
Looks like a proper foodie lover paradise.

Was always fascinated by the different cultural cuisines.
Asian food for one is amazing, the Thais seem to bring it to another level though and put a lot into the presentation of the dish. The sweet dishes would put a smile on any one's face...

Enjoy..

You will shift those pounds with a little cardio when you get back man 😃

Well said. 👍

Asian cultures still appreciate healthy slow food more than we westerns do i guess... putting more time and spirit in it.

can only recommend khlong luang market. its a little north of bangkok close to wat phra dhammakaya but counts as bangkok metropolitan region. lots of good food. didn't take a pic but the thai salad was amazing. lots of corn, avocado and pumpkin, bits of tomato and strawberry together with rice paper wraps filled with lettuce, carrot and soybean sprouts with sweet and sour cream to dip in

nah, don´t bother mate. Just do some weights, full body workouts are best :) aaand, I´ll try to join you soonish if I can ;) I gained weight since the christmas period began. Trouble is, various body parts really hurt including the knees :(
But hey, you know what they say: abs are made in the kitchen ;)

I made my 3rd large batch of pea soup today. Inexpensive and hot comfort food.
Good job too because we´re currently experiencing a drop in temps again and we even got a little snow the other day. I couldn´t believe it when I looked out the window that morning, lol.
I had put some fruit out on the balcony and the apple took ages to warm up enough to eat.

i was at goji bar and grill buffet the day before yesterday. that was 3000 bath but worth every penny. i could do 13 plates but then even thinking of food made me feel sick for some hours

shabu shabu with wagyu
1000000537.jpg

scallops was the only dish i had twice and prawn, chicken and pork dumbling
1000000538.jpg

my first time kingcrab, very juicy and sweet, i bet being warm would turn it into nectar. the sushi were very good, sashimi was ok-the tuna a bit lean and band but the yellow fin very nice. the rocky lobster was not my thing, very sweet what's nice but also strong and not so pleasant marine taste.
1000000542.jpg

wagyu rump and sirloin, rack of lamb with roasted potato and garlic. sadly max luke warm(already prepaired steak+ strong aircon+cold plates) but still delicious.
1000000539.jpg

together with an ceasar's salad
1000000540.jpg

some indian styl fish with parsley chutney and papadam
1000000559.jpg

beef noodle soup with wagyu brisket, beef balls and beef tendon balls. the crispy pork skin mixes in very well. nice combo of texture that changes every minute and aromas. only used min dry chilli and chilli oil but was hot as fuck.

thai oysters with a wonderfull fruity vinaigrette

1000000557.jpg

1000000563.jpg

good mango sticky rice
1000000566.jpg

i had paid and was on my way out when i saw the dessert section had a second floor

1000000572.jpg
