Since we got back from Mexico I've been messing around with making my own tropical drinks. This is just a simple pina coloda, but I'm having fun playing around with other drinks too. My liquor collection is growing.

4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
2 oz dark rum
1 oz cream of coconut
Freshy grated nutmeg

I love IPA's and the fish theme is perfect for me right now. I've been getting ready for our trip to Costa Rica in July. I had to get a few travel rods that will fit in our suitcases, and some extra gear. I still have a few more things I need, but I'm getting my shit together so hopefully I can catch us some dinner while we're there. My goal is to catch some snapper, but I won't be too picky.

Anyways, I had a guava juice in the fridge, so I mixed it half and half with Malibu coconut rum and its damn good. That Malibu shit is pretty freakin tasty.

Just tried this stuff. I like this coconut rum way better. It's not as sweet. And has a better coconut flavor.

Luzianne iced tea for me. Gave up coffee 8 years ago and have been using iced tea as a replacement ever since.

My stomach lining thanks me every morning.

I've been replacing coffee with tea for years and now I'm even replacing tea with herbal tea about half of the time.

It's becoming more of a focus in my dietary choices lately, as well as sugar and salt intake.

I salute the choice to kick coffee wholeheartedly.
