What are UK commercial grower growing now?

The POG I grew turned out bad, the yield wasn't there, aroma was crap, musky kinda aroma, lots of variation between the plants, hardly a stable seed line. I can remember Gypsy used to sell 'Golden Skush' which had the same strains (not the exact phenos) for parents Skunk#1 X HK, all the reports back then were that Gypsy's cross was better. That was a long time ago, there are so many better strains about these days.

Know of two locals , both in their sixties , who have ran 20K+ grows constantly for nearly twenty years , grown for maximum profit where other factors are more important than quality.

One has grown only a T44 cut for years , the other a POG/GSK clone from 2004 , both are reliable heavy and fast croppers of average bland bud , they both clone and trim easily , veg fast and finish in 50 and 60 days respectively.

They both grow some stunning modern plants for personal , but would never market them as it attracts too much attention , staying average has worked for them.

The High from KQ is Heavier/Lethargic Whereas the BM's is Energetic.. Very Different Highs.

its you that needs to sort ya head out and read peoples posts properly maybe you will learn a thing or two

i dont see you sharing much with the community not one detailed grow log at all

at least im doing my bit so we can all learn from it good or bad

this is what I would look for dgs oger99 lui13 and pretty much most of moscas offerings c99 bx for the massive dome pheno old time Indianan bubblegum bluefin etc all good candidates also be on the lookout for some upcoming kalishnapple crosses done by secret garden seeds

I would make f2's with the best pheno you find too should be pretty stable then you will have more beans to work with

I wasn't being funny, I didn't mean to give a wishy washy response, Just meant that there's a fair amount of people growing some nice strains from seed, mostly from vendors here @ icmag, sure it's worth having people offer opinions and point you in the right direction, but there's a plethora of stuff to look into here.

Some quality ones to look into IMO would be work from BOG, Mosca, Grindhouse, CSG, Rez perhaps depending what they have left. It depends on your personal preferences. Plant numbers, style of grow, flower time, yield etc

Some proven strains for commercial use available from seed, I'd say were Serious seeds AK47, and Critical Mass from Mr Nice,

I think the reason cuts were mentioned is because they are proven and have been selected already. So good to go for commercial reasons and saves time, time = money.

tis simple i guess, most of these cuts need special attention but most commy growers have the setup and there method of doing things, if a strain doesnt fit into that it will get chucked,

it needs to veg fast. have a good bag appeal - i mean if people dont like it they wont buy it in bulk.
fast finishers, very hardy strains that take a beating.
im pretty sure white rhino, cheese(exodus), nothern lights, bigbud aka critical mass, all the well known stinky easy to grow stuff.
you wont often see a comercial bb grow as its a pain in the arse and finickey etc.

i do often think that people rave on alot about enviroment... and yes you must take care of your plants needs. you dial in, and you will reap the rewards. but apart from that most strains are a piece of piss to grow. in general. once you get the basics down then its mostly down to genetics.
